MVMCP for December 2nd

Did anyone here attend the December 2nd party at the Magic Kingdom? I heard that it was a free for all where cast members weren't moving people without wristbands out of the park. Overall a bad experience and having it rain made it worse. I'd like to hear other people's experiences that day.

I didn't attend MVMCP that day, but I was in MK that day until 7pm.

We were trying to do one of the SotMK portals in Liberty Square at around 6:50 and we were not allowed to get there from Frontierland because we didn't have wristbands. They had that whole area closed to non party-goers.

Which IMO was kinda unfair because we still had 10 minutes. We really wanted to do one last portal before leaving.

If they were that strict before 7pm I don't think they would have let people stay after 7pm, but maybe it was just that section.

I didn't notice anyone without a wristband (but it's not like I was actually checking people's wrists, either). CMs were saying, "Have your arms up, please!" & were checking for bands each time we went on a ride or happened to pass through an area where CMs were stationed. They really seemed to be trying to control the crowds/traffic.

The rain was somewhat unpleasant but it did pass. We just waited it out inside Star Traders. My friend was disappointed that the LE pin was sold out.

The most annoying thing I encountered was the woman standing outside SotMK with a binder, begging people for their "spare" Elsa cards.

We were there on December 2nd for the party. I noticed quite a few more CMs than normal on our entrance at 4:30. The rain was a nuisance but we were able to watch the fireworks from under our ponchos. We missed the second parade due to the rain but it stopped shortly afterward. We were checked for arm bands for every ride that we went on, sometimes twice. We were checked also at each character meet and greet. I didn't see anyone getting pulled out of line for not having an arm band. I didn't see anyone without one either. I think that they are getting better at finding the party crashers.

We had a good time that night.

I was there on 12/2. CMs were checking wrist bands. It seams like there were doing a good job enforcing.

It turned out to be a great night for us. We stayed until midnight. Then, received a rain check to come back to Thursday's party because the 2nd parade and all stage performances after were cancelled.

We planned on seeing the 2nd parade. So, after the announcement of the parade cancellation, we were bummed. Disney came through for us.
