MVMCP Discount ?

The 12/18 MVMCP is supposed to be discounted for DVC members (at least according to allearsnet).

How do you go about purchasing these tickets? We called Member Services on Friday and they had no idea about this. A few weeks ago, they also told us Candlelight Dinner packages were sold out and when we called the dining line, there was availability at nearly restaurant, so I'm thinking maybe we just haven't lucked out with very "with-it" cast members.

I saw a link in another thread about purchasing them online, but I'd rather do it over the phone if that's possible.

Did we just get an uninformed CM?

I just booked our MVMCP tickets. I called MS and they took the credit card information. Two days later they called me with the will call confirmation number. We can only pick up the tickets at WDW. You will need to show your DVC Membership Card and have the will call number. Hope that helps!

Can you reserve them ahead of time and pick up and pay at will call? I have Disney dollars and wanted to use those to buy the tickets with.

We picked up our MVMCP tix's at Guest Relations in DTD. Make sure no matter where you go to pick them up, you have a photo ID with you. The first time I tried to get them, they would not give me them b/c I did not have my photo ID with me. A rule you have to appreciate!! Also, have your DVC member card.

I'm not sure if you've bought your tickets yet or not, but we used the DVC discount for the 12/11 MVMCP. I called the main Disney number and followed the prompts. As mentioned in other posts, I paid for them at the time I called but will have to pick them up at the MK will-call window and show my photo ID along with the DVC member card.

As far as the CP goes, there are a limited number of dining packages regardless of availability at the restaurant. Once the dining packages are sold out, they're gone....even if you can still get dining reservations, it won't be part of the CP package. I guess it has to do with the available seating for the actual show.

I called and ordered them on the phone for 9 of us in July, or shortly after they went on sale. I paid by master card, but did not get a will call number, or any other confirmation number. I was told I could pick they up at Guest Relations. Does that mean at the front entrance to MK.
Also, I am a bit worried now, that I have no actual proof that I purchased them .

Did they charge your credit card yet? If so, then the tickets are reserved for you. If not, you'll need to call them back and re-order them.

You might want to call even if they did charge your credit card, though, because the should have called back with a confirmation number. You can also ask them where you can pick up the tickets.

I don't think using Disney Dollars is an option. Everytime I have ordered tickets, they asked for a credit card number.

Yes. You should be able to use your Disney Dollars once you get down there.

Are these actual Disney Dollars or rewards dollars from a Disney Visa Card?

I know Disney Stores sell park tickets (or used to) but I'm not sure if they also sell special event tickets like MVMCP or not. If they did, you could use them there as well.
