MVMCP Dates

I am thinking of booking this for next year - I was just wondering whether anyone knows if the dates change considerably year on year? I just want to make sure that we are still there when it's on.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I searched and nothing came up (I still think search is dodgy! )

Hi Gems!!

I asked the same thing a few months ago (but for 2010!! ) - I think (!!) they said that the dates are usually very similar.

So I have assumed that they will be on the same days - for example they seem to be at least every thur and fri in dec (but stop the week before xmas) - so we are going to aim to go (what I believe will be!) the last one on a fri!!

Found these dates for you to look at.

The dates for 2008 are -
November 10, 11, 14, 16, 20, 21 & 30
December 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, & 19

The dates for 2007 are -
Nov 12, 15, 16, 25, 27, 29, 30
Dec 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21

The dates for 2006 are:

Nov. 13, 17, 27, 28, 30
Dec. 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 22


The dates for 2005 are -
Nov 27, 29
Dec 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20

As Alan's reply states the dates you'll see seem to get a little earlier each year. We return on 21st Nov (this year) and we were 'over the moon' when we found out that MVMCP was on during our visit. However we were disappointed to see that the Osbourne Lights are not on untill after Thanksgiving, yet I know they have been earlier some years. Bottom line...... keep your eye out on DIS news, as soon as you see the dates released..... get it booked.

Great thanks guys! The dates do seem to be getting a tad earlier each year - I am hoping that they will be similar to this years dates as we would have no problem with getting in then. I am still jiging dates - even though I have booked the villa!
