Held from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Magic Kingdom park, this annual yuletide event will take place in 2015 on the following dates:

Don’t miss your chance to delight in the night as lights shimmer like ice on Cinderella Castle—all while humming along with the holiday music as it fills the air!

Whew!!!! I leave on the 9th ill get in on the first party of the year

Xmas parties start the 8th of November???? Way to suck the life right out of the season Disney. I thought having Halloween parties in September was over the top, wow. I'm sure they've been doing this for a while and I just didn't notice. So, how far into a January do they leave the lights up for now? Maybe I'll try to plan a trip before the crane takes up residency at the castle.

I still think it's extremely dumb they stop around Dec 18th every year. Stop the Christmas parties a week before Christmas. If anything the last party should be Dec 24 or 25th

$$$$ Always sounds good to Disney.

I don't blame them in the least. Some things might make me crazy but it is Disneys' party.

We used to like going in September but now Food and Wine Festival has taken over. Used to be lots of room.

Oh well. If Disney do not continue to make money we all lose in the end.

I would still rather be at WDW than at work.

Disney won't close MK early for Parties during the most crowded time of the year. They will run the MVMCP shows and parade daily from December 19th - 31st.

Elsa's Castle Lighting show ended on January 12th this year.

I agree. It's not like people wouldn't come - the parit4es sell out every year - they should add a couple more dates.

They start charging holiday room rates on December 18, they can't very well have MK closing at 7:00.

We leave the 9th too! Was hoping the first one would be on a Friday like last year, but as long as I get to go Im happy!

We are going to be there 11/10-11/17. Have never been to a special party like this. What is the cost? Is it worth cutting out one of your park days, have a hotel day and do the party at night? Are the rides going as normal?

The last Halloween party is on November 1st so you can actually time it to where you go for a long week and hit both parties as well as hit up the Food and Wine Festival. That's kind of cool. I dislike how early the parties end. It seems to me that it would make sense to have them go at least until Christmas if not up to Epiphany. No one asked me, though.

We always go during the MVMCP time and we love it. We usually do the party and have a resort/DTD day before it. Well worth it to save a park day on our tickets. When MVMCP ends in December, they have the parade and fireworks every night. So it's like having the parties every night those two weeks of Christmas and New year's.

We are normally August guests but a special opportunity is allowing us to be MVMCP guests! I'm so excited, but have been having a hard time deciding on before Thanksgiving or right after. I heard not all the decorating is done before Thanksgiving.

I was thinking of using a park day on party day. I have little kids and they will need rest/leisure the morning after the party. I thought we'd get to do a lot in the morning, head back around lunch, plan a 5:00 or even 6:00 dinner, then head to the party. Similar to what we'd do in August, but I realize we'd be paying twice for the same day *waves fist in the air*

This we be our first Disney party. I know it's a long ways away, but I'm starting to get excited!

The MVMCP has always started the first friday of November and a lot of people were anticipating going Nov 6th. Instead they are starting it on Sunday. I absolutely love this party and it is the only event I would actually pay the additional cost to go to. It has been the highlight of my trips and in 2014, the night of our party was not sold out and the park was just empty and made it so much more enjoyable! Waiting for April now. I like choosing and settling on a date right away and purchasing the day they go on sale.. waiting for the tickets in the mail adds to the excitement and cures the pain of waiting for the trip a bit.
