MVMCP-can enter by 4pm for sure?

has anybody been denied entrance at 4pm with only a MVMCP ticket? we plan on being there right at 4pm on the 8th and i want to make sure we can get in. also, any strategy on which rides to hit first before the MVMCP festivites start at 7pm? we want to make sure we get as many rides in prior to 7pm as possible as usual, thank you for your advice!

Don't have any strategies, but when we were entering the park on Nov. 17, they had a separate event entrance they were letting people through for MVMCP and it was only 3:45. We had park hoppers we had already used that day, so we went through with our regular tickets, but others were getting in just before 4 with just MVMCP tix.

On Friday at 3:30 although they already had the signs up for the MVMCP to go to the right turnstiles we still had to use our APs. The CM said at 4pm they would start allowing MVMCP tickets. We just went to get our wristbands by the Rose Garden later.

This past Friday we arrived at 3:30, and met up with my sister who was already in the park. We did Philharmagic and IASW and then went to get our wrist bands and do a couple things on Main Street. Peter Pan at that time was only 20 minutes. The day time parade was held at 4pm I believe on Friday, so this could have made the wait times less on some of the attractions.

We then headed back towards BTMRR which DD rode twice. The sign showed 10 minute wait. We then walked over to Haunted Mansion which had minimal wait as well actually only about 10 people in our "group" in the stretching room. By this time it was 7pm.

We didn't cover as much ground as DD and I could have if we had not been with my sister. Glad we have another party to go to on the 18th!

THANK YOU for this info!!! We have AP, but have family members coming that do not have park hopper tickets, they might choose the MK that day to go to, but might not. We were worried we would be stacked outside with them for a long time.

thanks so much for your posts--clears it up for me. we have ap's, but our family members don't so just wanted to double check for them...
i'm thinking maybe we'll head straight for adventureland and work our way around...but i want to make sure we are at the galaxy theater by 6:45 for the first show so we'll see ....or maybe start with fantasy land??? such difficult decisions!
