Can a non-DVC member using someone’s points to stay at Disney book the Christmas party in advance of the general public?

If the early booking is for DVC owners, then it’s no.

Those don’t even require a stay but being part of the group given the early advantage.

So, if the guest is not part of the group…ie: DVC owner…then they can’t.

If the advantage is for guests with onsite reservations, then a points reservation should qualify them.

The way that MVMCP/JN/MNSSHP worked last year, you don't need to be a DVC owner. You just need a reservation linked into your MDE, regardless of whether it is a cash booking or DVC booking or value/moderate/deluxe. Those with reservations could book one of the parties before booking was opened to everybody. You could only select a party date during your reservation.

They have a date set for booking and it is a free for all for everyone as I recall
