MVMCP and park tickets??

We will be arriving around 4:00 PM to Disney World. We have MVMCP tickets for that evening. Do we also need park tickets for that day? I can't find anywhere that says park admission is required.

If you're going into the park after 4pm you don't need an additional ticket. your MCMCP ticket is good from 4pm-12am that night!
