After a solid year of non-stop migraines I had surgery in July to implant electrodes in my head. This reduced them from 100% of the time to about 50%, which was a vast improvement. So a couple of months ago I went ahead and booked MVMCP and a weekend at the parks for this coming weekend. (We were at WDW in May for my niece's wedding, and I ended up sleeping in the first aid center at MK while the kids did the rides. This is supposed to help make up for that and the crappy year in general we had.) I also managed to puke all over the DME bus (yes, that was me
) on the way back to the airport. Migraine sufferers will understand.
Anyway, now I'm back to nearly 100% migraines again. I really don't need this. I really do need a good time. My 9yo really does need a good time, and not Mom in the first aid center again. And certainly not puking. I've been hoarding my Imitrex injections, so at least I have that in my favor, and I'm going to take my nausea meds before I ride rides or get on the bus whether I'm nauseated or not yet.
If you think of me this weekend
send anti-migraine thoughts my way, please!
