Does anyone know how crowded it will get at mickey's very merry christmas party? I'm going on Dec. 12th (Tuesday) and I've heard that almost every mvmcp has been very crowded.

I've been to MVMCP once and MNSSHP twice (going for the 3rd time in a few weeks). It was not crowded at all at either party. Most of the rides you can walk on or have a 5-10 minute wait at the most. We don't even go to MK during our stay except for the parties. You can get everything done in a short amount of time. We don't do a lot of the special party activities, but just go on attractions and watch the parade and fireworks. The parties are my favorite way to do MK.

We've been to MVMCP twice, and both times for us, it was pretty crowded. However, it wasn't out of control crowded. We didn't even try to get on the rides though, cause we got involved in doing as many shows as we could for the party. Plus the parade and the fireworks. We had a great time both times and we're going again on December 5. Can't wait.

We've been to MVMCP twice during the second week of December (always on a Tuesday for some reason). The rides have almost non-existent lines but the rest of the park has generally been crowded (but it's not overbearing like summer/Christmas crowds, just alot of people). Alot of people go to the shows and hang around Main St. because of the parade and snow. My biggest tip would be to hit the free photo place later in the evening as it is very crowded the first few hours of the party (we walked right in and had our photo done around 10:45-11 p.m.).

We went to MVMCP last year. In the beginning hours it did seem that the park was very crowded. Most people were waiting for the parade and seemed to congregate mostly on Main Street. We headed back to the tea cups and the teens over to the other rides. No or hardly any waits during the first parade. We went to the second parade about 10 minutes before start time and we were able to choose our spot. So yes, early on it was pretty crowded but with a plan and staying later, it was a great time had by all. Now the bus ride back to CBR was standing room only and we did wait for the 2nd bus. Other than that, a great night!

We went last year on a Tues night (I forgot the date 13th maybe or the 11?)
We did not get there at the very start of the party and we did not have dinner at the LTT. Instead we went for an early dinner at the CG, watched the sunset, had a great meal then rode the monorail around to the MK. The line to get in was about 5 min. The crowds were not horrible at all. The parade was great and the fireworks awesome. It was really really cold that night and I am so glad I did research on this board about temps in December. I did what everyone suggested and packed layers including scarfs and gloves! glad I did.

You will have less crowds during the week for the first 2 weeks of December. After the 15th, the crowds start to build.

It is a great time.
