Mustek Electronics?

Does anyone here own anything made by Mustek? I saw a portable DVD player that wasn't too expensive but I'm wondering about the quality.

I had a scanner by them once. Didn't seem to last very long before I had problems here and there. I don't put much stock in products made by a Taiwanese company.

My brother in law had a Mustek DVD player, and hated it - he did nothing but complain about it, and finally bought a different brand.

It may have been a fluke, but that is my only experience hearing of their merchandise.
