We are leaving this week for our first DW trip. WHat are some must try DDP snacks?

Dole Whips-MK, Poly
Main Street Bakery-Ice cream sandwich, and many other items.
EPCOT-School Bread (never had, but others have mentioned it many times)

We went last month and LOVED the snacking variety and I am proud to say we did not spend even one snack credit on a beverage! We enjoyed these:

-school bread (Norway in the WS at Epcot)
-chocolate mousse (France in the WS in Epcot)
-Dole whip (Aloha Isle in Adventureland at MK)
-Mickey ice cream bar (chocolate covered)(all theme parks, resort food court at Pop)
-Mickey ice cream sandwich (all theme parks)
-Haagen Dazs ice cream bar (Pop Century food court)
-yogurt/fruit/granola parfait (Pop century food court)
-HUGE cinnamon roll (Main Street Bakery at MK)
-bowl of grapes (Pop century food court)
-chocolate dipped Mickey rice krispie treat (Pop cenury food court)

There are MANY other things on the dining plan that count as snacks! As you can see, we had a pretty good variety on our 5-night stay (we did enjoy more than one of those Mickey ice cream bars by the way ). We enjoyed the snacking options, especially at Epcot!

I suggest the Kaki Gori in Japan in Epcot and a candy apple either from the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. The frozen bananas are good too!

Kaki Gori in Japan- that a snow cone right? DD wants a snow cone she seen on the board but i couldnt remember the name.

Where can i find the hot glazed pecans? Glad to know its a ddp snack yum!

A snow cone uses more of a coarse crushed ice. A kaki gori used VERY finely shaved ice (almost like snow). There is a snow cone vendor just a few blocks from my house that's open during warm weather, but I much prefer the kaki goris in Epcot. Personally I love the melon flavor, but see most kids ordering the rainbow.

For the hot glazed nuts turn right as you enter World Showcase from Future World and the nuts are at a little stand on your right, just before you get to Cananda. We always get some just before Illuminations starts.
