Hi all-
Well, we've gone to going to Disney in May to the fall and now it looks like it may have to be sometime in March April or May due to work schedules. Can you tell me if these months are a good time to go weather wise and crowd wise. And, what are the must sees in each park, things not to be skipped??? What would you pass on?

My College daughter went last May right after finals. I believe it was May 15th. There were no crowds, but the weather was pretty hot already. Magic Kingdom was the only place that felt a bit crowded.

March and April can get crowded due to spring breaks. If you have a choice, go for May. The weather is warm and sometimes it can be hot! Evenings are cooler. It's a very pleasant time of year to visit Florida (weather-wise).

As far as must-see attractions go, everyone is a bit different in their preferences. If I had to pick one from each park, they would be:
  • MGM - Fantasmic!
  • AK- The Legend of the Lion King
  • EPCOT (Future World) - Spaceship Earth
  • EPCOT (World Showcase) - Illuminations
  • MK - Space Mountain

These are the attractions that we MUST see or do when we're in WDW. A visit to WDW would not be complete without them.

May is great if you are there before Memorial Day. The weather is beautiful - warm enough to enjoy the water parks, but not too hot.

Must sees;
MK - Small World, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, TMRR
Epcot - Imagination, Test Track, all of World Showcase (eat at as many restaurants as you can!), Illuminations
AK - Tree of Life/Tough to Be A Bug
MGM - ToT, Rock 'n Rollercoaster, Fantasmic
