As we budget for our "must haves" that we plan to buy from the park, are there any suggestions? I am thinking the My Pal Mickey, mouse ears and photopass for sure. However, are there any other suggestions of things that your family cherishes? Thanks!

Everyone's must haves are different.

I would not buy a my pal mickey (don't flame me I know many people are fans)
He is hard to hear unless your going to walk around with him up to your ear all day.
I also am not a fan of photo pass. I have a great digital camera and took 800 of my own pictures.

On with the things I do like...
I bought a very adult looking Mickey Mouse purse $28.
Minnie antenna bobber $5.
Photo album $20.
Key chains $5.
T-shirts- $20- $30.

we each get a t-shirt (this year, it was MNSSHP) and DD and i always get a christmas ornament (i usually get a small set of ornaments). we also try to get some wdw snacks to take home to make the magic last longer (this year, it was a bag of mickey head pretzels, two boxes of minnie's bake shop vanilla & chocolate cookies and a bag of mickey head chocolate covered pretzels.

Beach towels (cheaper at Target)
Christmas ornament (blown glass mickey heads with everyones name written on them-from ye olde Christmas shoppe in MK box of 4)
Mickey pens for work
key chain
scrap book stuff
t-shirts
mickey earrings
mickey watch (I have to get one this time!!)
disney charms for italian charm bracelet
dog collar and tag (tag made at mgm outside of movie ride)
disney poster ( have it mounted at costco)
spoon (collection)
fridge magnets
picture frame for family pic infront of castle!!!!
coasters
cookie jar
disney pins
pick a pearl at Epcot (Japan I think)

Thats all I can think of right now!!!:thumbsup2
I agree with the PP about my pal mickey...some love him but I can think of so many other things I could spend my money on. (no flames please)

Passports for kids, Christmas ornaments and those antenna toppers - we have one on each car. My kids love Disney mugs and those great 3D tumblers, too - it helps get them in the Disney mood, especially after the trip is over. It reminds them of their trip each time I set the table with them.

Thank you all for your advice. :) However, what passports for the kids? I haven't heard of this? Also, I heard that you can pre-order ears and have them waiting in the hotel room when you get there. Do you all know about this? Thanks again!

The are ones you get at Epcot and the kids go from country to country and stop at the kidcots where they get a stamp, the cast member may write their name in their native language (Japan writes the names of the kids in... japanese), and the kids can do an activity.

Pins! pins! pins! pins!

They are the best and are very small ! Everyone can get one they like .

So you can have a mouse hat waiting for when you arrive?

And there's something they can have done to it as you travel around epcot?

do tell...

thanks

I did find out that you can go through the Disney florist and order things to be waiting for you in your room when you arrive, such as mouse ears. However, they are a bit pricier than what you would pay in the parks. I saw on their website that they have a cute basket with Mouse hands and the ears. Not sure if we are going to splurge on that or not. Has anyone used the Disney florist before?

What website is this you are talking about???? I would love to check it out.

not a fan of pal mickey either got one last trip... would have saved the money

christmas ornament, photo holder, and magent were the best purchases

pal mickey is a WASTE!!! save your money! He rarely talks and when he does it is stuff you already know. Like someone else said you also have to hold it up to your head.
