We are doing the dining plan for the first time and I am trying to make a general idea of how to use snack credits :)

So far I have:

-Dole Whip at Aloha Isle
-Something from Starring Roles bakery
-Tie Dye cheesecake at Pop Century

Anything else that is just amazing?! We usually bring our own snacks into the parks so this is all new for us!

Mickey bars. I know it is just chocolate covered vanilla ice cream, but they are so good. The Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls is excellent as well and big enough to share.

Mickey Bars! Of course!! This is my 8th trip and I have never had one LOL

I really love the cinnamon glazed almonds and pecans. Not sure where your staying but also love the boardwalk bakery, most of their desserts can be used for the snack credits.

Dole Whip float is my only must have snack credit so far.

After my trip to Disneyland last year, I also now have to have a Minnie Mouse caramel apple (but not a snack credit).

I also now really want to try the caramel corn in Germany and one ofthose starring rolls cupcakes!

We are staying at POP ... never been to the Boardwalk Bakery either, so will keep that on the short list of we can make it over that way ... thanks!

Ok, this doesnt sound amazing our unique, but 1 of the best things I ate was a fruit bowl in AK. The 1s they sell in the carts. It gets so hot and the fruit is just so cold and refreshing, sweet but not sweet like cupcakes were u need milk to wash it down. Its just perfect in the hot afternoons while sitting on a bench taking a break

I am definitely putting that on my list! I love fresh fruit and I am sure it will be refreshing in the hot summer!

I hope that this is still available but when we went in 2008, we got preztel rods & mickey rice krispie treats at Goofys Candy Company. You can pick whichever toppings you would like on them. You used to get 3 pretzels for 1 snack credit. It was a great deal & lasted for several days of snacking in our room. My kids have already stated this as a "must do" in August when we return.

Unfortunately from what I have read they don't do this anymore. I did it my past 3 trips cause they were so awesome.

Here is a link to a blog I saw the other day that is very recent. I don't see the DDP logo on the price board anymore and the prices seemed to have jumped up. Its a shame but, I will just have to pay cash for some next month.

SCHOOL BREAD!!!!! Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet! Personal fave. :goodvibes We love everything at Kringla Bakeri in Norway but School Bread is a must. :) I also love Dole Whips, which I see are on your list, and the carrot cake cookie at the Writer's Stop in DHS. :cloud9:

Yes, I did see the make your own treats were not an option anymore :( I am not sure we will make it to DTD this trip anyway but I have been before and they are SO yummy!!!

Unfortunately we won't be going to Epcot this trip ... we have actually not been since we had our kids. I would love to go back (for the food especially LOL) but for now we stick to the other three parks.

I have added the carrot cake cookies to my short list ... they look so yummy!!!

i am so disappointed that these aren't part of the DDP anymore but I knew it was too good to be true. I guess we'll have to pay OOP for these wonderful treats.

Rice Krispie Mickey ears dipped in chocolate are the greatest. We love them and always save some snack credits so we can bring some home with us. They are so good!

Why skip Epcot? That park has always been the favorite of all 3 of my kids. Maybe they are odd :rotfl:

My favorite snack is the Mickey ice cream bar. :mickeybar
I am looking forward to trying other snacks this year! There are some great suggestions here.
