Must have packed items?

We take some food for in the room.. usually a little lunchbox with some of our favorite deli meats and cheeses. { i freeze them at home then put them in the little hotel fridge}, Crackers..instant oatmeal and cookies or rice crispy treats.
Usually a bottle of wine goes well wrapped in our suitcase.
Maybe a pack of juice boxes.

a little medicine kit
sunscreen

a large fold up carry packed in our suitcase in case i decide to buy some things to put up for birthdays or christmas gifts.

I think the only thing not mentioned that we always take is a night light. I hate waking up and stumbling to the bathroom in the dark. hehe

Plus, if we plug it in in the bathroom, we don't run the risk of waking everyone else up with one of those switches that turns on the lights and the fan.

We always pack a soft sided bag to bring stuff home in. Usually, it will be our dirty clothes bag. That way, we are almost packed for the return trip. We hate packing to go home anyway. That just makes it quick and painless! Plus, DD only has to make one trip to build-a-bear and there is no room for anything else!!!

We also bring a night light. It helps DD feel more comfortable and makes those late night potty checks MUCH easier!!!
