What are the 'must haves' for character dining?

Right now I've already booked:

- Chef Mickey (dinner)
- Cinderella's Royal Table (breakfast)

EDIT: My kiddos are -> 12g 7b 5g

I'm not good at all of the acronyms either... :)

You have got the 2 "biggies". If they like the Pooh characters, then the Crystal Palace in the MK is good.

We Really Enjoyed "Lilo and Stitch" at O'hanas in the Poly.
The food was very good and because we did a late morning
breakfast (10:30 am) the Characters had more time to spend with each table.
Then it was just a short Monorail ride to MK.

Another good one is LTT in MK. The food is served family style and is very yummy (the dinner though). I have also heard that O'hana's is a must which is located at the Poly. I had originally made ressies there but read that Stitch comes out and tries to steal the kid's pancakes, out of play, and my kids are a little nervous around the characters still so I canceled and are going to Kona Cafe instead.

The Garden Grill restaurant at the Land Pavilion in Epcot has a GREAT lunch. The characters are Chip, Dale, Pluto and Mickey, I think, but the food is fantastic.

I also like Donald's Breakfastasaurus at AK, but I'm a big Donald fan.

Do you have any children going with you? When we went last (May 06) my DD6 LOVED the Princess Storybook Dinner. The Princesses were wonderful. We saw Ariel (in her ballgown), Aurora, Belle (in her blue dress), Mulan and Jasmine. The food is actually pretty good and the wait staff is WONDERFUL at helping you through their tough menu. They will make any substitutions that you want. Also, I would ask to be sat by the door that the Princesses come out of. We sat there and when Aurora came out of the door I thought my DD6 was going to fall out of her chair she was so excited. After that they just kept on coming..

Also my DD6 LOVED the 1900 Park Fare Dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and 2 of the Mice (Perla and Suzi). I think their buffet was really good and my DD6 liked it as well.

We also love the Crystal Palace (Pooh and Friends) their food is wonderful, especially the breakfast lasagna.

Next year we are going to

Crystal Palace - breakfast
Cinderella's Castle - lunch
1900 Park Fare - Dinner
Princess Storybook - breakfast
Chef Mickey - breakfast

We also would to try the CM at Liberty Tavern but I don't think that we can do 3 CM's in one day..

Thanks to everyone for the feedback... Ohana is a sure thing, since we are staying at the Poly...

Has anyone heard anything about seeing the fireworks during the dinner? If so, what's a good time to do so?

thanks!

:P

You have 2 of the best already so I think you will have a great time :thumbsup2. My other favorites are Crystal Palace and Donald's.

We enjoy both Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club Resort and Donald's Breakfastasaurus in Animal Kingdom. We always try to visit one of these buffets during our WDW stays.

Cape May Cafe is in a great location if you plan to spend the day at either Epcot or MGM. It's fun to spend time at the boardwalk and take the boat to the parks. For Donald's Breakfastasaurus, we always make early ressies so we can still spend a lot of time in the park. Also, the characters dress in safari costumes.

Awesome feedback... I have most of my 'big ones' done... Here's the plan so far...

Sunday (the day we arrive) - Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner)
Monday - Chef Mickey (dinner)
Tuesday - Ohana (breakfast)
Saturday - Cindy Royal Table (breakfast)

I better let me wife pick the rest, or I'm in big trouble...

I know for sure I want to do one at Animal Kingdom... prolly the dinasaure-themed one for my son...
