Must...find...GLOW CUBES!

I know my kids, and I know my luck : they will probably see someone with a glow-cube drink within 5 minutes of our arrival (even though I'm pretty sure they don't have them at any of the AKL restaurants?) and nothing, not Mickey, nor Nemo, nor all seven dwarves, nor Cinderella riding Mulan's horse Khan is going to make them happy until they have them.

I've seen them listed on some restaurant menus, but none of them ones we've gotten ADRs for (Boma, 199 Park Fare, Cape May, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon). Am I going to have to change our ADRs for these little thingies?

Where might I find them? Are they available at CS places? Or snack carts? Hopefully in MK, our first stop?

Bring your own and pay much much less for them! We buy them from a guy on ebay, but I can't remember his user name. Do a search for glow cubes. They are about a buck a piece with a maybe 12 minimum order. They are the exact same cubes!!!

EDIT: they are two bucks a piece after shipping on ebay. I'm thinking they increase the drink price by $4 though in WDW for them. Search for: glow ice cubes.

The new ones don't just glow, they flash wildly. A person could have a seizure!
When you get home, keep them in your freezer. I have ours from our cruise 2 years ago. They last forever!

I don't know about party stores, but it seems like a good place to look. On the other hand, our Walgreens has them. I forget the price, but it was less than $5.00 for two. Apparently they light up when they are put into a cold drink. Keep them in your purse and don't pull them out till the kids realize someone else has them and they don't!

I remember seeing them being sold at Fantasmic. My kids have already adsked if they can get them again this year.

We got glow cubes in drinks at Concourse Steak House in the Contemporary. The server indicated they were also available at the lounge on the concourse (whose name I can't remember at the moment) just this past February.

ive just ordered mine from E bay. from a UK supplier, as postage from the USA to UK was quite high, just for these. I suppose i could have waited, but I like to have these type of thing with me, like another Disers said, then pull one out of my bag when she sees others with them. Even better I might plop one in a drink when shes not looking!

We have glow sticks and chocolate coins for pirate night on the dsney cruise too!

I think buying things like those are a big way to save money. I am trying to search out all kinds of lite up and flashy goodies. Anyone have a good site for those? I also am going on the Wonder and saw flashing leis for tropical night at our party store but they are completely out. Wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction.

Ours from the Coral Reef are now two years old, and all twelve of them still work (they were free at the time, and the waiter dropped a handful on the table at one of our meals! Plus we had them in all our drinks at two meals, lol). They sell them at our local party store here, the same kind (hit one side they light, the other they turn off).

I found tons of distributers by Googling "light up ice cubes", lots of different colors, too.

My kids got theirs at the Sci-Fi Diner in MGM back in 2003 and they still work. They are red and came in a specialty cup.

You had a choice of red or blue at Concourse Steak.

I believe they have just blue at Coral Reef.

No, you'll be fine. We got cube drinks at 1900 Park Faire dinner and Coral Reef dinner.
