When we visit WDW we love trying new snacks and having our old favourites.

Are there any must eats at Disneyland you can share with me?

I have three...

Bengal BBQ - opposite Indiana Jones - It's meat on a stick and it's AWESOME!!! (and portable) It is a bit spicy, so if that's not your thing....

Cafe Orleans - near the exit from Pirates - the Monte Cristo sandwich is fantastic! It's the same sandwich you'd get at Blue Bayou, but about $10 cheaper.

If you're going for QS, R2P2 (Red Rocket Pizza Port) next to Space Mountain has decent chicken fusilli and soft drink refills.

On our list of must haves are Dole Whip, Churro, Caramel Apple, Giant Pickle and Ice Cream.

Oh.. also... down a small side street, off Main Street (on the right as you head towards the hub) is an ice cream shop. They serve ice cream cookie sandwiches.. on freshly baked cookies with Edy's ice cream... NOM NOM NOM!

The Cinnamon Buns from the Main Street Bakery are GREAT! Ask for them to be heated. I think they're better then the ones they used to serve in WDW/MK

And, of course, Dole Whips! Right outside the Enchanted Tiki Birds off the hub towards Adventureland.

Back in Critter Country, behind Splash Mountain, is the confectionery shop - filled with some awesome chocolate creations.

Wow thanks.

I think I will have a long list for 5 days lol!

That ice cream shop closed quite a while ago. No more handmade ice cream cookie sandwiches.

Well, crud. I haven't been to DL in a few years, guess some things are bound to change.

My favorite treat in DCA used to be the swirled ice cream along the boardwalk on the way down to Screaming.. it was twist o' flav or something like that.. it was AWESOME and always had long lines when it was open.. then they just replaced it. grrrr.

I am going to be getting the Kitchen Sink from Clarabelle's for sure when we go and my kids have already been talking about the Churro's so that is a must do also.

Snacks in this order for me...Churro, Dole Whip, and frozen banana.

For lunch we have to eat on the lower deck at the Hungry Bear. More the relaxing break in the shade by the water than for the food, although the food is very good.

Mmmmm!! My must haves...

Churro
Dole Whip
Mickey Sourdough Bread
giant pickle

Corn Dog Castle - any item will do
Beignets at Ralph Brennen's
Cupcakes at Joliy Holiday
Dole whip
Dinner at Blue Bayou
Lunch at Carthay Circle

Honestly the only thing we get every year without fail are churros. So delicious and you just can't find them anywhere else.. at least not around my 'hood. Dole whips are good but I find they leave a greasy, chemically taste behind. Still good on a hot day. Clarabelle's is awesome!

I think I'm most happy about them finally having good tasting coffee in the parks. I'm not a huge Starbucks fanatic (GASP...what kind of Canadian am I?!) but its so much better than anything you could find there before it came in. DH and I were dying our first trip there without real coffee.

Cars Land has soft serve ice cream and dipped cones in the Cozy Cones. The line gets long but they are yummy!

Oh and I love the cookie sundae from Gibson girl. Mmmm! Corn dogs are a must! So are Dole whips. At Christmas time I'm a huge gingerbread cookie fan. And the cinnamon roll at Starbucks and Jolly Holiday are awesome!

Oh totally forgot about Cozy Cones. My kids and DD's LOVED the ice cream from here. Me? I totally loved the pretzel bites with cheese dip. Yum! I am ashamed to admit this became a daily treat for us...

Churros (WDW's version is not even close to DLR's)
Dole Whip
Corn Dogs @ Little Red Wagon Cart
Fried Chicken @ Plaza Inn
Beignets @ Jazz Kitchen Express Downtown Disney

I think most of ours have been said already but DH and I be sure to get:
Beignets at Ralph Brennen's and/or in NOS in DL (they are both different and we like both for what they are)
Anything from Bengal BBQ
Churros
Mint Julep in NOS

ok, now I'm hungry.

Our fave's:
-churros
-dole whips
-mint julips
-pomegranate limenade (in carsland)
-Sea Salt Caramel Banana Shake (Ghiradellis in DCA)

Have a magical and yummy time!
