Must do unique souvenirs/gift shops to see

I always buy a magnet and a Christmas Ornament also, in addition I always pick up a new Mickey Tie at Downtown Disney. My wife has to keep me in control or I will buy everything. On my next trip I will probably try to mix it up a little. :yay:

Oh yes! I forgot get a Christmas ornament (if you celebrate Christmas) with the year on it for each of you! If not then maybe a picture frame for each of you? Something nice like that to always remember the trip :thumbsup2

where can you get real gold mickey earrings... has anyone seen them in "child-size"?? My little one has had her ears pierced since she was a baby and it would be neat to get her a pair of earrings. They have to be real gold, I have the nickel allergy so I don't want to test costumey jewelry in her ears. She has earrings now that are spiraled posts so that the back doesn't come off as easily... I would love to get myself a nice pair of earrings as well or necklace... Doesn't necessarily have to be a character just something I can say I got from WDW... Any good places for that too??

Basin in DTD is one of my favorite places. I love the soaps and lotions.

My fave stores are:

Mouse Gear in Epcot!!!!! This is a must!

The downstairs gift shop in the Poly - you can get some great things there that you can't find anywhere else on property!

Also - all along Main Street in the Magic Kingdom is a giant on-going store with all kinds of wonderful goodies!

I seem to get clothing more than anything - Tees mostly, but also other cute stuff.

Here are some of my favorite finds:

My Tinkerbell hoodie:

Got this awesome skirt at the little shop in Animal Kingdom - Asia - right next to Yak and Yeti.

Got this great Expedition Everest tee for just $6 at the gift shop when you come out of the ride:

Happy shopping to you!

Piercing Pagoda has childrens jewlery- mickey earings. http://www.pagoda.com/family/index.jsp?page=4&cp=3974279&f=PAD%2FGender%2FChild%27s&categoryId=3945593

Also, you could try Walmart or Kmart.

The refillable mugs from the resorts! I used it every single day while at WDW and now I use it during my morning commute! Everyone at work knows it's mine too, in case I accidentally leave it in the office. (bring a carabiner with you to attach it to your bag in the parks after you rinse it out)

I also got a fairly inexpensive watch ($30?) that I love, regular Mickey watch with a gold face and a brown leather band. UNFORTUNATELY I went running one day last year and forgot to take it off beforehand, sweat in it, and now the band smells vaguely of feet. So don't do that!

Apart from the mug my favorite souvenir is my "come to the green side" Kermit dressed as Luke Skywalker t-shirt. It may be my all-time favorite t-shirt.

Take lots of pictures! I have a bunch of just buildings and topiaries but I find I race through them looking for the ones with people in them :)

The gift shop in Japan (which is where pick a pearl is) is one of my favorite gift shops and I would also just encourage you to be creative. I found a pair of men's pajama bottoms last year that were made out of srub material and had pockets (including a back pocket) and a button fly and I bought them and wear them as scrub bottoms (I'm a nurse). They're dark blue with white mickeys all over them and are one of my favorite souvenirs of all time! I wear them to work all the time. Also I try to get a t-shirt every visit that reminds me of something special from that visit. Hope you have a blast!:cheer2:
