Must do table service places for two 4 year olds?

I need to book my ADRs for October in about 3 weeks, so I'm getting organized. We tend to do the same places again and again and I want to see if there are any others out there that you consider to be must do's for two 4 year olds.

It will be me, DH, DS and DD-both 4.

Without a doubt! Absolutely Positively do Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios (HWS)!! (Breakfast was our experience)
They have Leo, June (from Little Einsteins) Jojo circus characters too and Special Agent OSO!
They do alot of get out of your seat, come up here by us and dance!! They do a parade around the whole restaurant with the kids and sing to all the Disney Channel songs! For 2 4 DDs, its a must!!! My daughter LOVED it and it was nice cuz she didnt have to stay in her seat and wait for the characters to come to her!! (even though they did, come to table too!)

O'hana's is fun and they have really great food! Be sure your girls love Siitch though... we've found he loves to kid around

The Hoop-de-do Revue will probably be lost on your kids. A lot of it is for the older set. I might wait a few years. If you are looking for a character show you might try Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Have you considered doing the Tusker House character breakfast? It's very nice and it gets you into the park early.

And of course there are the old standbys: Gotta love Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. For the Princesses, Cinderella's Royal Table is very nice, as is Akershus.

I don't love the food at H&V but the breakfast is not so bad and the characters should really appeal to 4 year olds.

Cape May and Tusker House also have good character breakfasts. I'd do the Ohana breakfast only if you were positive about Stitch (and only if you like the foods on the family-style platter; a lot less to choose from than at a full buffet). Ohana for dinner is not a must-do for kids but is a great place for the adults and does have kids activities.

Biergarten at the Germany pavillion in Epcot is also good for the whole family, and the kids are invited to come dance while the oom-pah-pah band plays. At Coral Reef they can watch the fish. Garden Grill at dinner is supposed to have really good character interaction, although again since it is a family-style plate it's only good if everybody wants to eat those specific foods.

I also think the dinner shows, except maybe for Mickey's Backyard BBQ, are a little too old for them yet.

Depending on the time of year, look into going over to Ft. Wilderness one night, though. They offer wagon rides (does cost some $) and a campfire, sing-a-long, and Disney movie with Chip & Dale (this one is free, except they charge like $8 if you want to buy a marshmallow-toasting kit. Bring your own bag of marshmallows from home).

We love the breakfast at Cape May - it is our check-out day tradition. The character interaction is great and it does not get as hectic as other character meals. The characters usually make it by our table 2 or 3 times.

My DS4 loved the Hoop De Doo Revue. I have some of the best pictures of him laughing at the jokes. It was a suprise for us. I've always thought it would be fun, but the DH said no - it looks like a Branson show.

We did get section one seating, sat on the second row and my DH got picked on by one of actresses.

It was a wondeful evening!

Another vote here for HDDR. When my DDs were 4, they loved it. The corny jokes, the songs, the washboards! They even ate a little. It was great.

My DD's at age 4 loved Hoop-dee-do review and sci fi cafe. Both places they asked to go back to on our next trip. I think I still have dh's dining report linked in my sig if you want to check out all of the places we ate when my girls were 4.

I vote Ohanas. My girls (3 & 8) loved the fun atmosphere of doing coconut broom races, dancing Hawaiian dances, getting leis and umbrellas in their drinks,etc. It was a great atmosphere for the entire family. The food was absolutely delicious as well so it made it a wonderful meal for all of us.
