I'm giving tips to a friend with three small children and I told her they have to get a mickey head ice cream bar and try the grey stuff cupcake. I also told her everyone loves dole whip if they like pineapple. For Galaxy's edge I said they need to have a ronto wrap and try the blue millk (just because its a thing). Anything else? Any special candies at the confectionary? Thanks! (PS: I haven't posted in a while. Hope I got this in the right place)

Dole whip from Aloha Isle and an afternoon Mickey pretzel from The Lunching Pad in MK are always on our must have snack list. Also, in the morning, we like to grab a delicious cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern...they are really big and very shareable. Gaston's also has the Gray Stuff cupcake I do believe. You really can't go wrong with anything you get in the Main Street Confectionery. So much sugary goodness everywhereyou look. We usually grab the seasonal cupcake or a yummy cookie there on our way out.

Absolutely a Mickey pretzel and Dole Whip. At Main Street Confectionery, the caramel apples. Don’t look at the price, just say yes. HS: Ronto wraps. Woody’s Lunchbox has pop tarts and other fun snacks. Honestly it’s hard to go wrong at WDW. I’d tell your friend to follow their snack desires and they won’t be disappointed!

One thing we were grateful for was the discovery of the only corndogs in the Kingdom at Casey’s Corner (which may not be open when they go). Not as a treat per se, but when you gotta get them something they’ll actually eat. Same with Woody’s lunchbox. That place is a godsend for family’s with small kids.
As for treats, other than what has been said, Plaza ice cream sundae (delicious but also good atmosphere to stare at the Castle while eating your treat).

Loved Casey's corn dogs, but they were still closed a week ago. We did find a decent replacement at the cart across from Peco's Bills at the corner of the bridge that leads to Big Thunder. Also we always have to get several Peter Pan floats.

If they still have the specialty ice cream cones at Storybook Treats (I may be wrong on the name, but it's in Fantasy Land), they are worth it.
During our last trip, our lemon-loving daughter got the Rapunzel cone TWICE.

Also, we really enjoyed the churro ice cream sandwich and the fruit and nutella waffle from the snack location in Liberty Square.

Cheshire tails, seasonal cupcakes are fun and of course the Mickey bars. There are also tons of recommendations on Disney Food Blog and I do believe they have it broken down for kid-specific stuff.

I'm a dole whip junkie. I prefer the float, but I'll still beat you up for either of them.

Cheeseburger spring rolls are nastily, greezily delicious if you can find 'em.

I also do the spicy chicken waffle (HOLD THE SLAW - IT'S WAAAAYYYY TOOO SUGARY) at Sleepy Hollow.

DHS - MEH. I was excited to try the pop tarts. Got both flavors to split with three people. Threw them out before finishing them. Kinda bland, imo.

Basically like everything at Gideon's Bakehouse.

I was so excited to hear about cheeseburger spring rolls!!!! We will be hunting for those.

I also want to try Mr. Kamal's seasoned fries at AK.

Ice Cream from France.

The classic poutine from The Daily Poutine - Disney Springs.

I love the nutella waffle at sleepy hollow. I'll second Gaston's for a cinnamon roll. I love the rice krispe treats - seem so much better at WDW!

Mickey Krispy treat dipped in mini m&m's (from the Big Top circus if it's open) and the fruit and nutella waffle from Sleepy Hallow are two of my favorite MK treats.

The carrot cake cookie is one of my favorites at HS.

Jack Jack Num Num cookie at HS. Its the best chocolate chip cookie, big enough to share!

tips to a friend
We fell in love with the funnel cake at sleepy hollow and the waffle chicken sandwich - although the latter might be too spicy for little ones. At HS there is a num-num cookie at a stand right at the entrance of Toy Story land - basically a large, warm chocolate cookie that could be shared by the kids.
