For those who don't like to iron out the wrinkles from packing -Downey's Wrinkle Release! Slip it into a Ziploc bag. Works great! Always pack extra zip locs. I also pack larger mugs (the ones at the resort are too small) plus extra tea bags (I'm not a coffee drinker). If you are planning on doing any laundry I save the detergent samples they send in the mail or are in Sunday's papers, slip them into a ziploc and bring them with me.

We buy the dollar store shoe racks that hang in the closet (for a buck) rather than the over the door. We stay at Pop and there is a mirror on the door.
I've been looking for travel size downy wrinkle releaser and can only find the large size. Anyone know a good spot to find it?

Gas X is a big one for us, and tums. We usually don't eat that kind of food, so it can be hard on the systems. And we never get backed up either. LOL!
Clothes oins. Pop has a retractable clothes line in the shower.

Clothes pins, over the door rack for toiletries, my own apt. size refrigerator (if I am driving down) so we can have the freezer compartment to freeze water bottles and juice boxes for the next day, tylenol/motrin for the kids and adults, cough suppresant or other over the counter cold meds, first aid kit to include (band aids, antibacterial cream for cuts,, small scissors and things like that), foot care products (powder, moleskin, body glide or blister block, and those really great Band aid Blister bandages), Clorox Anywhere Hard surface cleaner, a roll of paper towels, plastic stroller cover and rain ponchos, white socks, extra shoes/water shoes, maps, ADR #'s (to compare in case of errors on the one you can have concierge print out for you upon arrival), story books for the kids (they help keep the bedtime routine familiar), kids taggie blankets, ziploc bags, a laundry bag or folding hamper, laundry detergent in single wash size packets, dryer sheets in a ziploc bag, mousekeeping envelopes and Lysol air spray deodorizer. Probably more and I have to have a suitcase designated to these things so I try to drive more often than fly, more so now that I live in KY instead of MA.

My favorite thing we brought was actually a small thing - liquid hand soap for the kids! Those bars of soap are tricksy, tricksy for them.

Bring a few water toys for bath and pool and anything else you might need for the bath. DS doesn't like getting his face and eyes wet. I don't know what I would do if we didn't have his favorite bath visor thing.

Target has the travel size Downey Wrinkle spray and Tide pen minis. Both are with the regular size laundry things...

Our Target must not have them then. (I SWEAR THEY HAVE NOTHING i NEED ANYMORE) I looked and they only had the full size downy. I'll look at the other one in town before I go just to be sure though.

Another thing I find helpful is the stain stick, I think by spray and wash. If you do laundry while there it helps get out stains, and if you don;t you can put it on a stain and then it keeps it from setting. I never tried the tide pens yet though. I did try the oxy stuff that is supposed to be like it and I thought it was worthless, but love all the other oxy products.

We bring almost everything you all do, but dont forget diapers, tampons, etc. they are hugely expensvie onsite, as well as film, batteries, memory cards. i recommend bringing a netbook or laptop to view photopass photos of evening so you can retake the bad shots and make list of those you havent gotten yet.

more packing advice, cover head to toe with spf 60 in room before leaving (avon skin so soft repells bugs too) then touch up with sunblock stick which doesnt leak everywhere. this works unless you are hitting the waterparks.

pack your in park bag and tote it around the house the whole day. if you can't stand it, re-plan and re load. if folks did this before leaving home, they'd find out that fanny packs are a Godsend, if a fashion faux paux.

you also might try taking your own comfy pillowcases from home. when the trip is over, load them with your dirty laundry and you are good to go.

ziplocs will save your life. pint to 2 gallon size. toiletries, underwear, film, electronics, outfits, food, you name it.

run to the dollar tree or everythings a dollar store....pick up a bunch of things you can use for trip including: umbrella, rain ponchos 2 for buck, cheapie sunglasses, visor hats, gum, over the door holders..............

don't forget your chargers.

over the years we have forgotten at home: extra socks, extra shoes, swimwear, flip flops, dramamine, tylenol, toothpaste, conditioner, tampons. Guess what, they sell all of them in florida..............
