Any mods out there that can shut this thread down? It is turning into some religious and political thing that is being highly insensitive to whole religious group out there. I for one am saddened to see this kind of hatred, especially on the DisBoards.

I actually meant that this turned into all of us thinking it's highly inappropriate to try and pull this kind of lawsuit, into a soapbox about what's happening in nyc, and I don't know where that transition came. I understand this is a topic with high emotions and a numerous amount of opinions, but this isn't the place... at all.

You might be right--this woman isn't worth one iota of the attention she is getting. Plus it's out of "our hands" anyway. The good old Courts will eventually weigh in and frankly, I am not at all optimistic about that result.
