Agreed. Plus he reinvented himself several times during his span. If you haven’t done so check out some of his later stuff. Pretty sold IMO

The only current band I am interested in is Amyl and the Sniffers.
They are a mix of AC\DC and 70s\80s punk. In Australia its called Pub Rock.
They are very reminiscent of Dead Kennedys (The Jello Dead Kennedys not the fake ones that tour now), Altered Images, X-ray Spex, Sex Pistols, Souxsie and the Banshees etc..

One of my musician friends (who played with BB King so he is legit) saw Jimmy open for the Monkeys which must have been something to see to say the least.
