Trey Anastasio started a series of concerts from The Beacon Theatre in NYC last Friday that is going down every Friday until November 27th on Twitch. The shows are being done for charity but both thus far has been quite enjoyable. The last two weeks he's been playing with what amounts to a smaller version of his Trey Anastasio Band lineups but the folks he'll be playing with over the next few weeks are a bit of a mystery. One can guess and probably assume who some of those musicians will be but either way it's been an exciting thing to look forward to on a Friday evening. Many have certain ideas about Trey and Phish but his chops as a musician and more importantly an improvisor are without question.
