Music playing during "There is only one Disney" trailer?

The recently released Disney DVDs have a Disney promotional montage sequence that plays at the beginning. It starts off with Peter Pan and the voiceover says something like "There is only one Disney". Does anyone know the music they are using as the soundtrack for this piece?

It sounds like the action theme music for "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" 1991 staring Kevin Costner - but other than recognizing the swashbuckling elements and undertones of "Everything I do - I do it for You" - I can't verify where the music comes from.

Well it's a question that I too have had over the years and it came up again last evening when I revisited the DVD Pirates of the Caribbean Worlds End. So I did a search and up popped that unanswered question and nothing else directly related to the issue. Perhaps one day a difinitive answer will be provided.

I was going to say that maybe it was a google search, or some kind of search, that lead to the reserrection of this thread.

You're right - a Google search. For anyone still interested you can hear the "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" theme at this YouTube link.

It's not exact but you can certainly hear a strong connection between Disney's "There's Only One Disney" crescendo and the RH theme music. Perhaps the same composer was involved in both projects. Anyway I have satisfied my curiosity about thinking I had heard that music somewhere else. Enjoy you Disney everyone.
