Music or Sports?

Okay... so I have gotten a few responses on what all of you think of the ASMu.

Now, I would like to know which you like better... ASMu or AS Sports. I really wanted to stay at POP but they don't have an AAA rooms available and we need two rooms because we have 6 people so the AAA discount is important to us. There are 6 of use myself, DH, DS (and friend - both 21) and DD (and friend 15 & 16). Which do you think would be better for the 6 of us? ASMu or AS Sports?

I trust all of the opinions of everyone here and I need your help to make this a great vacation for the whole family. We love Disney and I know anywhere we stay it will be Magic, but I really want the kids to have a great time!

We have stayed at both & found there to be many more teens & young adults at Sports. That being said, I really wouldn't choose Sports for myself & DH (both in our 30's). We found it to be more crowded with this age group. I think they would probably like the theming of this resort better than music. I liked music for myself better because it was quieter. With the ages of the 'kids' traveling with you, I think sports.

When are you traveling? All the rooms at AS MU are undergoing reburbishment and should be done by the end of June (I think). The new rooms look great and there are pictures posted on allearsnet.com. My son and I will be there in late August and we are looking forward to it. As Mu is also between the other resorts so I hope we have time to walk over to movies and sports and check out the other pools and icons.

From my experience ASMu always seems to have a little more laid back feeling than sports... perhaps it was just the times I was there. I do think the crowd is a little "older" and maybe that is why I think that.

Either one will be fun!

Just returned from Music and we were originally put in a terrible nonrefurbished room! It was more worn out than some highway motels along 95! We moved the next day, but was very surprised that they were in such poor shape. There is no way they will be ready by the end of this June! The refurbished room was wonderful! The resort was much quieter along the parking lots than we expected. We would stay there again. Some nights we returned from the parks sharing a bus with Sports, and by the crowds there last week, we were glad we picked Music instead. I'm a teacher, I love kids, just a quieter group at Music.
