Music at Sail Away Party

Where can I find the music they play at the sail away party? Is there a CD?

This is a very popular question on these boards but unfortunately there is no official CD out there. the best you can do is ask everyone for their favorite deck party/sailaway songs and compile a disk yourself!!!

I know two of my favorites are the Cha Cha Slide and Hey Baby (not the Gwen Stafani version) but one that goes...hey, hey baby...I wanna know if you will be my girl......

Always reminds me of our DCL cruises!!!

I know there was a thread last year that everyone listed their fav cruise songs, and some songs they heard on the disney cruise. I"m trying to search for it but can't seem to find it! Any more songs you'd put on a CD to listen to BEFORE you cruise???

My DD6 has been practicing the Cha Cha Slide for weeks in hopes that they will play it at some point on our Wonder cruise next week. Can anyone confirm that it is one of the DCL hits?

Yes... I do remember it at the cruise party. I know that both kids and parents were doing it on/around the goofy pool where the deck party is taking place. I also remember the "dancin on the ceiling" by the ATeens, Hot Hot Hot... can't remember the artist! Maybe more can contribute to this thread.

I believe that they play some of the same music on Castaway Cay that they play for the sailaway party. They play the music at the DJ hut, which is across from Cookie's BBQ. At least they did this back in December. I know for sure they played the "Hey Baby" song because there were lots of people doing a dance to it.

On our Feb 05 3-day sailaway party they the first song they did was "Let's Get it Started" by the Black Eyed Peas (the censored version, of course) -- and, since my boys already had the censored CD, I play it all the time and remember waving good bye to Port and heading out to sea on a beautiful, warm February day -- what fond memories! I think I'll play my computer version right now .....
