Murphy Beds at POR Alligator Bayou

Does anyone know if ALL the AB rooms now have Murphy beds? I have seen conflicting information. I saw a video of a room with the Murphy bed and while I love the decor and the larger beds, I was somewhat disappointed in the reduction of storage space. Thanks!!!

I don't know if the refurbishments are entirely done yet, but once they are done, ALL AB rooms will have the murphy bed. They are doing away with the trundle. The only way you could get a room with the trundle is if it hasn't been refurbished yet, but the refurbishments should be done soon if they aren't already.

The murphy beds have gotten mixed reviews. While it's more comfy and nice to be off the floor, it's in an awkward spot in the middle of the room under the TV. Since it's elevated, there are size requirements so a small older child may not fit comfortably as they could on the trundle since it was on the floor. You also do lose some storage space.

According to http://www.portorleans.org/ (which is a great site for everything you need to know about POR and POFQ), the refurbishment was completed as of Aug 1, which means that all the Alligator Bayou rooms have the Murphy bed. Check out the Port Orleans Riverside thread for more information.
