Would the Murphy bed in the moderate resorts be big enough for an adult or teenager to sleep on? We are a family of 5 considering a moderate resort, 2 daughters and 1 son. So, it would likely be my son on the murphy bed. He is 13 and 5'9. Wondering if this room choice would be too tight for us?

The moderate Murphy Beds are 30″ wide by 64″ long. So any one much over 5 feet will likely have issues.

Compare it to a Twin bed at 38" wide x 75" long. Note not only the length but bunk is 8" narrower.

Compare it to a Crib mattress at 28" x 52".

It is small. Our middle son like to sleep curled up and he chose to sleep on it (so he didn't have to share a bed) until he hit about 5'6". Now our youngest sleeps on it.

The murphy beds in the moderates are shorter than the murphy beds in the DVC villas. The moderate ones are about 5'5" long. The ones in the DVC villas are about 6' long. Have you thought about a Fort Wilderness Cabin?

My understanding is that they are meant for children 9 and under.
