Mummy soft openings started today!!!

DM, When you say that nobody knows how long a soft opening lasts, do you mean that it could keep opening several hours a day until it opens "for real"? Or will it likely be open a few days, close for awhile, reopened, etc? Just wondering what kind of a chance we stand to be able to ride this Sunday-Tuesday. I know you don't know for sure or maybe can't say, but I just wanted your best guess.

That's great that my 3 older kids can all reride with the person waiting for the baby swap.

Thanks, T&B

It just means that it could last for a few weeks, but only a few hours each day. Or the whole day. Or closed for three days. Or two weeks. Or whatever.

So for those who have rode it...is it or is it not a roller coaster?

Yeah, It should be classified as a coaster. A highly themed coaster with dark ride elements, but definitely a coaster.

Got it! I'm a slow learner... , but I'm very excited to even have the chance to ride it. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Thanks for the info!

Definitely a roller coaster. I don't see how it's possible to argue otherwise.

How in the world could I have missed this? We just came home today, and were at UO last night. I cannot believe I missed this :(

Now, I really cannot wait! More details! Please share! I was going to wait until my August trip, but I don't think I can wait!!!!!

Was it open in the afternoon yesterday (Tuesday), too?

That's good-I like that trend since I'll be there in 5 days. Any idea what the wait times were on the second day? Just wondering if word is getting out to more people about the soft opening.

We'll be there during spring break, though, so I'm sure the waits will be a lot worse if it is indeed open. Hopefully I'll be able to access the internet from Cocoa Beach to check Saturday night for the latest, breaking details.

The wait times were less on the second day. They were around 30 minutes within minutes after Mummy opened yesterday. The shortest lines are right before closing time. Both days around 6:30 PM the wait times were 5-10 minutes.

Wow, that's good! I'm going on the assumption that many people don't research these types of things and won't have a clue that Mummy will possibly be in soft opening. Even if the lines are a lot longer this Sunday-Tuesday we'll still wait in line since we might not be back for quite a while.

It was open again today (Thursday)! I got to ride it three times, and it rocked!!!:hyper: :hyper:

I am still confused. Does the ride goes upside down or not.

I don't do rides that goes upside down.

Simple terms please.

The ride does not go upside down so don't worry.

I am kind of a ride weenie. I can ride Blue Thunder Mtn and Space Mtn. (this is as intense as I can do) I do not like long drops. Will I like this ride?

It's not bad. If you can do Space Mountain, you should be fine here.
