Mummy soft openings started today!!!

I thought it was well worth the wait and will ride it prob a couple more times in the week provided they have it open, when I'm at the park. I'm not a coaster person and truly had alot of fun on it. We had a 4-5 min tech prob once the ride had already started just before the lift hill due to this almost everyone in our car rode again I say almost because me and a couple other people got off when it was over and after we were gone my friend told me they let everyone left, ride again cause of the earlier prob , so my friend got to ride again. Anyone who says this ride isn't themed is totally clueless. I don't think a coaster could be anymore themed than this one. Since I was in the singles line I didn't go through very much of the reg line in the building, but the part I was in was really GREAT LOOKING, and INCREDIBLEY themed.

Forgot to mention earlier to anyone who had waited in line for Kong before it's pretty spectacular the difference when inside, hard to imagine it as the grafitti coverd area it was before. To me it has a dark gloomy feeling like over in the line at Posidon's Fury only more Heavily themed. Everything I expierienced was top-notch and the really great thing is that it's gonna get better as they get done with the tech rehearsals and have everything up and running.

You have no idea how happy this makes me!!!! OK, I won't get my hopes up....but I REALLY want to ride this and my kids will be so excited. I just blurted this out to my 10yo, but I should have kept it to myself so they won't get their hopes up.

ZKZ, did you head over first thing in the morning? Any idea how long it was open today? Of course it could be totally different in a few days, if it is open at all.

It was opened from 3:00-7:00 (closing) tonight. I rode 5 times! I expect it will be opened at least the rest of the week in the afternoon until park closing time. This is just an educated guess though and not anything official.

It is opened for anyone who wants to ride. This is not the Annual passholder ride so anyone can ride.

The wait times were between 15-45 minutes in the regular line. I would suggest going through the regular line at least once or you will miss a lot of the themeing in the queue. Then ride in the single rider line for the next rides.

While I was there anyone that met the height requirement, and in the park was allowed to ride.


That Jim Hill article was right on the money in my opinion, and btw I had the seat Mr. Hill wanted last row left

As good as MIB? If it is, then it will be a tremendous success. Fly fly? Better than MIB?

Better than MIB. I'm still not giving up my addiction to MIB because it is interactive but ROTM is really a much better done ride and the themeing is amazing. Very exciting!

So yes, it is better than MIB. Will I ride it as much? Probably not just because I like the challenge of MIB. But it blows MIB out of the water for excitement and themeing.

I loved it better than MIB in the fact that it was more of a thrill ride. Like Universal's own Space Mountain though with more awesome special effects and VERY COOL pyrotechnics!!!!! I even missed a Ghostbusters Show to ride it....and it was WORTH IT. Does that say something or what!??! LOL

Made the trek from Tampa, not knowing for sure if it was going to be open. Arrived a little past 4pm, and lo and behold, open it was, woohoo!

Very dark line, but themed well. You gotta watch the preshow video, parts of it are hilarious!

Cast was creepy, some did this better than others, but overall, the cast members were great.

I LOVED the ride. Special Effects were great, I loved the coaster section too. I do think that the scenes go by too quickly and abruptly, it would be nice if we were slowed down a bit, but thats a small complaint.

First time I rode it, I had a huge smile on my face. This ride is so much fun. Can't wait until its up to 100%.
