May 31st (part 1): The #StupidGuest Chronicles

We had not seen FoF in AGES aka like three weeks so I really wanted to take a trip to MK.

Bungalow construction on the way.

And then you have this beautiful mess in the hub.

We had a Space FP to use so we walked on over there.

God, my legs look tan again.

I wanted to get a spot for FoF. I knew exactly where I wanted to sit and that was right next to the FP section so I would have the castle as my background for some pictures.

We were sitting there for a good hour in the sun. We had front row and of course, five minutes before parade time, people start trying to squeeze into spots. Yeah, I don’t think so. I was standing there and this little girl pushes her way through and stands right next to moi. I already had one kid on my right side and I didn’t need any more. Now, I know parents want their kids at the front so they can see. But when I have been standing there for an hour and you try to get your child up to the front, I don’t think so.

I barely had any room as it was and then the mother makes herself at home right behind me on the ground. First of all, you have a butt in your face, and second of all, do people not have any personal space or what.

Her whole leg was pressed against my leg. I do not want some random person’s skin touching my skin. Then the little girl kept standing up and trying to peak out and watch the parade and I would stand there and turn myself and block her view like the nice person I am. And I may or may not have said some lovely things out loud, but everyone spoke Spanish so of course they didn’t understand a word I was saying. What else is new.

Anyways. That concludes my rant. Let’s move onto my pictures.

May 31st (part 2): Training for the #pooh5k at Heaven

Someone behind us that spoke English: “who are these people?!”

After the parade got over, we pushed our way through the #stupidguests and made our way over to 7DMT because we had a FP.

It was perfect, of course.

I needed a Le Fou’s Brew so we walked on over to Gaston’s.

Gaston’s chair was open so I “ran” over and grabbed it.

Look at us being awesome.

And then this happened.

Anyways…

We took the train to Frontierland.

We had a FP for BTMR.

It was way too hot and crowded, so we took the monorail to the Poly.

There was no one else in our car so I kept taking selfies and acting like a complete idiot.

Well look at my 8 chins and that drool coming out of my mouth.
Mum wasn’t having it.

I really should’ve picked up this package of 9 grapes. I was getting hungry.

This was the beautiful sight we saw when we arrived at the Poly.

I found a new Duffy!

Gorgeous.

Let’s be real now. The reason we were at the Poly was to go to the Tambu Lounge.

We got all of our usuals.

We finished eating and then made our way downstairs to see the beautiful lobby.

We went out to the beach and looked at the bungalows. They are really coming along well.

May 31st (part 3): Running CMs over. It's casual.

We walked around the resort, taking in all of the amazing sights.

What in God’s name is this gonna be.

LOLOLOL.

We went back upstairs and took the monorail back to MK.

We had another FP to use. I can’t remember what it was for. Probably for my mansion, because duh.

We decided to get another FP because we could and decided on Buzz, even though that ride stinks.

And then we ended up here. What.

I don’t remember Obama being white.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I don’t think I had seen HoP before this time. It wasn’t horrible to say the least.

It was time for our FP so we walked on over to Tomorrowland.

We went on the TTA next and we got to Space and I knew right away that the lights had to be on because it is never that bright.

I was right of course.

People were stuck on the very top so we waved to them like the nice people we are.

Well, I like how this came out.

We just stayed on because we wanted to see Space again.

Art.

We got off and then for some RIDICULOUS reason, we went on Stitch’s Great Escape. We had to wait SO long too…

It was a lot of fun to say the least.

And then we went on the second best attraction evah.

THE TOMORROWLAND SPEEDWAY OF COURSE!

Mum was thrilled.

When we were pulling up to get out, Wishes started and then I almost hit a CM with our car because I wasn’t paying attention so there’s that.

BUT FIREWORKS!

We watched Wishes by Mad Tea Party and then I wanted to see how long the wait was for 7DMT. YEAH LOL NO.

So we headed out, as we had big plans for the next day.

June 1st (part 1): Exploring New Harambe!

FOTLK was debuting in the new Harambe Theater on this day and I really wanted to go. I had missed the show and I wanted to see New Harambe.

We got to AK and looked at the kangaroos and flamingos and then made our way over to Africa.

Yayyyy!

It was raining out at this time—what else is new—so I was trying to juggle my camera and umbrella. I can’t wait to get more shots of the area because it is great.

I was getting hungry so we went over to Pizzafari.

For some odd reason, Mum got a flick card to hold in line. I don’t know.

I went to go find a table while Mum ordered.

So the CM called her a long time ago and Mum was in this giant line and never got our food because she couldn’t hear her. Once she got up there, she asked the CM where our ONE SANDWICH was and the CM was like “I called you awhile ago!” So you wouldn’t call again?! Good job.

We just split the Italian sandwich because Disney pizza is downright disgusting.

Our FP for FOTLK was coming up so we walked back over to Harambe.

June 1st (part 2): Festival of the Lion King!

I can’t take these details.

The FP queue is to die for.

The FP queue is let in about 10 minutes earlier than stand-by, and I think getting a FP is worth it if you want to sit close. By the time stand-by is let in, the front of each section is totally filled up. If you don’t mind sitting in the back, don’t bother with a FP.

The show is exactly the same as before. I noticed though that some of the floats have new features. For example, the elephant float has a new water feature on the front that I don’t remember being there before.

Of course, I had my camera out. Duh.

As always, the show was beautiful, and I can’t to see it again soon.

When we got out of there, our FP for KS was ready to use.

June 1st (part 3): ANIMAL PARTAY!

ANIMAL PARTAY! #livinituplovethatfeeling

After we got off, we walked over to the Maharajah trail.

It started POURING when we were walking along the trail so we had to duck into that red house that overlooks the tigers, since ya know. Mum’s umbrella just broke on the spot.

After it started clearing up, we walked over to the Everest dump shop and looked around. And I think some guy stole a shirt from there so that was nice.

It was time to use our FP for EE.

Our whole car was really #livinitup.

The wait time was only 10 minutes when we got off so WE WENT ON AGAIN WHY NOT!

Chillin’.

And I love how you can’t see Mum’s face in any of our ride pics for the most part.

I was hungry again (duh) so we went over to Yak and Yeti and we split the beef lo mein.

DA NOMS.

We had some visitors while we were eating.

Mum had work the next day and it was getting semi-late. But we stopped for frozen yogurt on the way home so I guess it wasn’t too late.​

June 6th: Adios cash part 1

The Marketplace Co Op had opened and after I saw the merchandise that they would be having months ago, I couldn’t wait.

We parked across the street at Casting because we were not dealing with the torture that is finding a decent parking spot at DTD. That was not happening.

EEEEEEE!

Of course I ran straight for Centerpiece aka heaven.

READY FOR THE BEST MERCH EVAH?!

I would be on crack if I didn’t buy this.

But can we talk about this plate.

I picked up several items and then we looked in Cherry Tree Lane.

When are we going to get this shirt in adult sizes

The display at D-Tech on Demand.

I saw SO much stuff that I wanted, but here is the thing. Half of this stuff I just don’t need and I don’t know what I would do with it. Like, I was DYING over the Orange Bird glasses and pitcher but I know I would never use that pitcher. And I have no room to put it on display anywhere because I already have enough crap. It just wouldn’t be worth it to buy it. And that goes for a lot of stuff for me in Centerpiece. I want it all, but I don’t have the money for one because #brokelife, and for two, I don’t know what I would do with anything.

So I left with three plates, and I seriously can’t even remember what else. Maybe I should take a picture next time…

Even the bags are perfect.

We looked in Tren-D for a few.

We looked in WoD for a few and then made our way down to West Side, and holy crap. Getting there is a DISASTER.

And we ended up at Starbucks.

Now, we all know how I feel about Starbucks on Main St. I refuse to step in that place because of reasons that we aren’t getting into right now. Starbucks at Epcot doesn’t bother me as much, and then I really don’t mind Starbucks at DTD. They already have a ton of other non-Disney retails places so what difference does it make? But I don’t understand why we have to have two locations.

I have to say, this location is really nice. I wouldn’t mind going back.

We got a drink and the “CM” was really nice. This location is owned by Starbucks and not Disney, so these aren’t official CMs. But this guy was CM material. He was awesome.

We found a place to sit and got our common white girl on.

Afterwards, we went into D Street and I found this AWESOME Hipster Mickey tank top that I just had to have. So Mum bought it for moi since I had no money after spending it all at Co Op.

We walked back over to the Marketplace and popped into Co Op again because WHY NOT.

This is the Trophy Room, and they have a lot of awesome vintage-ish sports merch, if that is what you are into. They also have these perfect vintage WDW shirts in there that I LOVE but they are really expensive. Of course.

We stopped into Art of Disney and Design a Tee.

Can I have this shirt and wear it every time we go to the parks

DTD was pretty packed and we had enough for one night so we headed home.​

June 7th: Adios cash part 2

We went to the bank because I needed more money. Actually, I needed some because of reasons that are happening this weekend and because I wanted to go back to Co Op……

THAT PLACE TAKES YOUR MONEY OK

We parked at the TTC because we did not want to deal with DTD parking again.

We walked to the Poly and I had to take advantage of my new perfect lens.

We took the bus from the Poly to DTD.

I was hungry when we got there so we went to Ghriardelli and got a snack.

And then LOLOLOL we went back to Co Op and I spent more cash.

And back to Centerpiece we went!

I bought this cause it was perf.

So this Dooney pattern is amazing.

I left with a Haunted Mansion napkin thing that is being used on my nightstand, that bowl, a plate, and a mug for Mum that she saw the night before and she had really wanted it. And being the perfect child that I am, I bought it for her.

I paid and then I bought a tiara cause I really needed one.

We went to the bus stop and took a bus to the G Flo because we had had enough of DTD.

The bus took about ten years so that was great.

We hopped on the monorail and took it to the Poly.

…and we ended up at the Tambu Lounge.

We just got the nachos and no bread pudding because they give you SO many and I am having bread pudding this weekend anyways so.

After we ate, we wanted marshmallows down on the beach but they already stopped the fire. HOW RUDE.

We walked to the TTC and noticed that the longhouses that are walled off are totally gutted and have no walls. Can you say DVC rooms?

I wanted to shoot Wishes from the TTC but it had started raining and I really did not want to stand in the rain and wait, so we decided just to leave.

So…. I AM OFFICALLY CAUGHT UP ON THIS THING I THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!

But that won’t last long.

This weekend, MY TWIN IS COMING TO FLORIDA TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY WHICH WAS LAST MONTH BUT OH WHALE.

We planned this trip back in January and it is finally happening and I CANT CONTROL MY EXCITEMENT.

We will be staying at Jambo and #livinitup with the giraffes.

June 14th (part 1): In which I am reunited with my twin, I am a derp, and there is "mulch" stuck in my foot

Before I actually start this update, I just wanted to say that my twin started her TR which you can find HERE so GO CHECK IT OUT MY READERS AND LURKERS AND GO COMMENT OR SOMETHING.

I woke up at 4:40. I couldn’t sleep. I WAS JUST TOO EXCITED BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO BE REUNITED WITH MY TWIN!

Mum said that she would get up at 6 so I just chilled in bed and texted my twin for 80 minutes.

We got ready and then we had to go to Sears because Mum ordered new tires for her car and she had to get them put on. We got there RIGHT at opening because duh and we had to wait 5evah. I HAD PLACES TO GO AND PEOPLE TO SEE GRRRR.

After like an hour, we went home, got our bags, and drove on down to Disney.

My twin had already gotten to AKL because she runs fast to MDE and such sooo.

She didn’t have to wait too long for us to arrive. Thank god there was no traffic.

WHOOP WHOOP

Since we were celebrating my birthday and all, I got stickers from the security guard. Boo ya!

We parked and then I fast walked up to the lobby.

My twin and I “ran” into each other’s arms like the awesome people we are. REUNITED!

We walked in and got in line for online check in.

Our room wasn’t ready and what the crap was up with trying to give us more Magic Bands?! We already have like 10!

We put some of Meg’s stuff in the car and then we went over to the Mara because I needed a snack.

PUMBA!

Duh.

After we finished our snack, we went to the gift shop and looked around. I bought a new backpack in there because I needed one to hold all of my crap.

We decided to drive to MK because it was just going to be easier in the long run. And plus Meg needed the full experience.

Meg needed to get her AP when we got to MK so we hopped in the Guest Relations line and waited about 15-20 minutes. When we got to the front, a CM pulled us aside and then just went into the back to get Meg’s AP. AND NO PROBLEMS YAY! It is really too bad though that Mum didn’t have to yell at any managers.

Meg was freaking out over her AP and I was just like “it’s casual.”

We headed on in and walked through Tomorrowland.

Our friend Matt was working so we said hi and he gave me crap for wearing my birthday button like a month after my birthday. OH WHALE.

It started to rain so we went inside to CoP.

After the show got over, we just walked around as it was still raining.

It was time for our Anna and Elsa FP so we made our way over to Fantasyland.

We barely had to wait at all because #dislife/#FPlife.

We got up there and I handed a photo matte to Elsa for her to sign and then she gave it to Anna.

I thought Anna was signing on the wrong side so I said to her “um can you sign on the other side please?” And she just looked at me like “what are you talking about, dude?” And then I saw where she was signing and I realized that I was wrong so I apologized and that was just awkward to say the least.

Can we talk about my face and how much of a derp I am

Anna told us a joke afterwards.

Something like “why can’t Elsa have a balloon?”

Um

“because she always lets it go!”

Ha ha ha…

We took our picture and then walked on over to Aurora who was just chillin’ there. I really don’t remember what we were talking about. Something about our tiaras.

We said bye and then I needed a Le Fou’s brew stat. We started walking over to Gaston’s and I felt something stabbing into my foot. I told Mum and she was like “It is probably just mulch. Shake it out.”

Yeah ok because I could really do that with the nail that was stuck in my foot.

I showed Mum and I was like “yeah that is mulch alright.”

We couldn't get this nail out of my shoe with just our fingers so I hopped on over to the Pooh Dump Shop and asked a CM at the register if they had any scissors or something so we could pull this random nail out of my shoe.

Thank you to the awesome CM who handled my dirty flip flop and got the nail out! He was da best.

Idk where that nail came from but Safe D was not beginning with Disney on this day.

Nail-free, we went over to Gaston’s and the CM said that he had a tiara just like ours. Awesome.

After we finished our Brew, we walked on over to Main St to get a spot for FoF.

The rain stopped for a little bit and the bands marched down Main St so I thought that they were going to do FoF.

But that wasn’t the case since the stupid Rainy Day parade came through.

I feel ya, Petah.

I felt bad for Meg because she still hadn’t seen FoF yet, but we were going to be back at MK and we could see it another day.

We had a FP to use for Space so that made up for having no parade. Ok, it didn’t, but our ride through Space was awesome. And our ride pic is priceless.

We walked to Storybook Circus and I bought a pin for both me and Meg in Big Top.

It was STILL raining so we walked over to the Country Bear Jamboree because WHY NOT.

We were in the second row omg why

And THEN we went to see Hall of Presidents so Meg could see White/Spanish Obama.

We were really #livinitup, to say the least.

And we only had to wait 5 minutes for the next show!

It was still kinda raining outside and we had a FP for 7DMT but there was no lightning so the ride was opened.

Meg loved it, so that was great. If she hadn’t, we would’ve had problems.​

June 14th (part 2): "LETS LADY AND THE TRAMP IT!"

We had an ADR at the G Flo and we had about 20 minutes to get to it so we had to get going.

We were about 5 minutes late but what are you gonna do.

I checked us in and when the CM asked where we were staying on WDW property, I said Jambo House and she looked at moi like I had two heads.

“Where?”

“Animal Kingdom Lodge!”

Now, I don’t realize 99.9% of the time if I am giving attitude when saying something, I guess it is just my sarcastic personality and according to Mum and Meg, I gave this CM attitude like “why do you not know what I am talking about?!”

Well then.

We skipped the stupid picture because um no and waited for our buzzer to go off.

It went off and we were led to our table.

Oh, by the way. Our destination.

We went up and got food like right after our waitress came over.

My first plate.

Duh.

Mum’s first plate.

Prince Charming came over while we were eating.

They always make a big deal of characters coming into the room and they clap and cheer and I don’t know. I find it ridiculous. And even when Prince Charming and Cinderella have to do their dance, they have to leave the family they are meeting with and go dance.

Of course, Lady Tremaine had to walk in and Prince Charming had to clap. I was standing there like “UM HELLO IT IS MY BIRTHDAY DON’T RUIN THIS FOR MOI EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE NOT EVEN CUTE OR CHARMING.”

HOW RUDE.

Cinderella came by and we talked about god knows what.

MORE FOOD! AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW THEY HAVE CORN DOG NUGGETS HERE BECAUSE THEY DO.

Lady Tremaine came by and asked why we were wearing tiaras. We are princesses, duh. I said to her that we are better than Cinderella.

“Everyone is better than Cinderella.”

She looked young but she had the personality down and the character interaction was great.

All of a sudden, they made an announcement for everyone who was celebrating something to stand up and cheer or whatever.

So I stood up and started flailing my arms around.

And then I got a cupcake.

Anastasia came by and can we just talk about how perfect she was.

She saw my birthday button and asked how old I was turning and what I could do now that I am 15. Yes, 15. Can’t control my awesomeness at this age.

I told her that I could get my driver’s permit and she said that she was going to hire me to work for her so I could drive their coach around and clean it. I needed to be there at 4am the next morning so I could start working.

I can’t.

Drizella came by next and she was also great. Stepsisters 4 life.

Mum went up to the buffet and got some dessert. Nothing sounded very appealing to me but I like cannolis so I tried one.

And then I said to Meg “LETS LADY AND THE TRAMP IT!”

I am shocked that we didn’t get kicked out of that restaurant, I swear to God.

The dessert was awful, but we had something else in mind so it was all good.

We paid (well Mum did) and we headed to the walkway that goes to the Poly.

But on the way, Mum died because of this.

“I AM GOING TO MARRY MYSELF!”

We walked on over to the Poly and Mum cried over the Wedding Pavilion.

So glad you and your twin were reunited!!!! I am going to go over and read her TR. I loved your pics of the fireworks at MGM. I thought they were wonderful!!! I have never seen fireworks at MGM. So Cool. I can't wait to hear about the rest of Meg's visit. Thanks for the updates.

So glad you and your twin were reunited!!!! I am going to go over and read her TR. I loved your pics of the fireworks at MGM. I thought they were wonderful!!! I have never seen fireworks at MGM. So Cool. I can't wait to hear about the rest of Meg's visit. Thanks for the updates.

June 14th (part 3): Two cows at a trough

We walked on over to the Poly and we went up to the Tambu Lounge.

They were having a big wedding party up there or something and it was pretty packed and there was nowhere to sit. Great.

Mum went to find a seat by the Ohana check in desk and Meg and I waited by the bar so we could order a bread pudding. Yes, we did just eat. Deal with it. #pooh5k #poohsized

The bartender kept ignoring us. WE JUST WANTED ONE BREAD PUDDING, DUDE.

After ten years, he brought one out for us, and we went to go find Mum.

Meg just about died.

And then this happened.

Mum: You guys look like two cows at a trough.

After we devoured that puppy, we walked to the TTC and took the tram back to the car. There was a really pretty sunset at that time. But viewing it from the tram/#strugglebus <

We drove on over to MGM and there were no parking CMs out so we had to fight for ourselves.

The tram was already there so we ran to catch it.

And no one looked at what row we were parked in. Well then.

It was raining but we found a spot to set up zee tripods under the awning of the Crossroads of the World.

FIREWORK TIME!

After the fireworks got over, we packed up our tripods and took the tram back to our section.

And we walked up and down the rows. Yes, we were those people. I told Mum to set off her alarm, and once she did that, we found the car since it was beeping and the lights were flashing. Not too hard to miss.

I don’t know what the deal was with the traffic that night but it was like getting out of a concert for cryin’ out loud. It was ridiculous. And good thing we have a small car so we could drive through cones and cut off traffic. #livinitup​

June 14th (part 4): We can't have nice things and THE DUFFY COIN PURSE

We drove on over to DTD. #livinitup

Meg was lovin' how I was talking on the drive over.

And Mum loved whenever I put my arms up. Let's just say that it was really hot out, per usual.

"PUT YOUR ARMS DOWN!"

Of course we had to park at Casting. We really didn’t want to deal with parking otherwise.

Our first stop was Design a Tee.

We had a saying for the shirt all planned out. We brought up the receipt and since we can’t have nice things, a manager had to come out and say that we couldn’t have this, this, and the other thing on it. UGH.

1. We had “Livin’ it up” on there. BUT NO. Since they are so strict about grammar or whatever, we couldn’t have the apostrophe and we had to have it say “Living it up.” BUT BUT BUT on Must Do Disney they say Livin’ it up so WHAT THE CRAP. THAT IS PRODUCED OR WHATEVER BY DISNEY.
2. We had “pooh sized partying” on it. Now, the guy who rang us up didn’t have a problem with it. And I am not trying to be rude here at all, but he wasn’t exactly on the skinny side. He just said that the “livin it up” would be a problem.
3. We also had “pumba free.” Now, we ain’t talking about Pumba the Warthog. We are talking about something else that the manager must’ve knew about, since he is a manager and all. It is nothing bad whatsoever but we can’t have nice things.

So our shirt ended up saying

Wicked awesome
Belated birthday!!

Meh.

Anyways…

We had to pick out tee up the next day because it was already like 10:30.

We went into several more stores including the Co-Op, where this happened.

And World of Disney, where I almost had a heart attack.

We went over to the Duffy section and they had A DUFFY COIN PURSE.

YOU GUYS DON’T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I STARTED DYING.

Like, I am obsessed with Tokyo Disney merch and all of the cute little Asians wear the Duffy and Shellie May coin purses and I have always wanted one. AND NOW THEY SELL THE DUFFY ONES HERE NOW AND I DIED.

I needed it. I didn’t even look at the price. I just grabbed it and then followed Meg around and was like “LHSLHDJKSDHJKSHDJKD.”

Mum went to go look at something else and I found her when we were about to pay and she was on the other side of the room and I yelled to her “MUMMY LOOKED AT WHAT I FOUND!!!!!”

I may or may not have scared a few people because of my yelling.

I bought it and I was a very happy camper.

Everything was pretty much closing so we drove on back to AKL.

We rocked out to Ain’t it Fun by Paramore on the way and seriously, that was the best.

When we got back to AKL, we got out all of our stuff from the car and dragged it up to our room, which we hadn’t even been to yet. We were busy #livinitup, OK?!

We were in room 5231 and we were on the Kudu Trail.

Meg gave me my birthday presents and Duffy was very happy with his wheelchair.

Meg and I took our tripods out to the lobby and took some pictures.

We were finishing up taking our pictures when this group of guys came by and asked what we were taking pictures for. Um, just for fun and it is a hobby, dudes. One of the other dudes looked at me and asked if I had met his nephew, Cooper. I was like “um, no…” And then they left. Um, what the crap.

Losahs.

We went back to the room, got ready for bed, and watched some Stacey.​

June 15th (part 1): "Let's go say hi to the lettuce."

We got up at like 6:45 and got ready.

Of course, we had to take our rachet mirror pic for the day.

DUFFY COIN PURSE

We took the bus to Epcot and there were some cute little Asians on our bus and I was like WE ARE MATCHING CAUSE DUFFY #TWINZ

We got there a few minutes after opening and went to Test Track because we had a FP for Soarin.

There was already a long wait for stand-by but single rider had no wait so what do you think we picked.

I got stuck with these two old people who didn’t say a word to me and I was just like “ok then…”

And I may or may not have accidently elbowed the guy in the head while taking pictures. You’re welcome, sir.

After everyone got off, Meg had to use the bathroom (TMI Thursday, you’re welcome) so we waited for her and then we went into Mouse Gear.

If my head wasn’t so big, I would so buy this.

We then walked over to the Land because we had our Soarin’ FP coming up in a little bit.

Walt knows what’s up.

We went to Soarin and we got the stupid third row! We can’t have nice things.

Meg was hungry so she got a strawberry shortcake from Sunshine Seasons.

DA NOMS.

I had a few bites of it—thanks, twin—and then wrote in my Doc McStuffins journal for a few. Get on my level.

And that whole writing in my Doc McStuffins journal thing lasted really long...

We decided to go on Living with the Land so we could say hi to the food we would be eating later.
