April 5th (part 4): The Easter egg display at the G Flo

We took the monorail to the G Flo because we had to see the Easter egg display. I had seen pictures before and they looked really cool so this was a mandatory trip.

Try not to drool. Seriously tho. The whole lobby smells like chocolate. It is amazing.

Um, twin.

THE DETAIL THO.

All of these eggs are very impressive. The details on all of them are awesome. But thing I don’t get it is the random eggs. And by that, I mean, why do we need a giant egg with puppies on it. They weren’t even Disney dogs for cryin’ out loud. Just random dogs. I don’t even know.

We headed up to the monorail and got off at the TTC. You know the drill.​

April 12th (part 1): Animals and parades aka my life

Mum wanted to go to AK for a little while in the morning before going to MK to see a certain parade so that is exactly what we did.

We didn’t know where to eat for lunch so we just walked around the park trying to think of a place. And we ended up at Restaurantosaurus.

Mum went to order food and I walked around and admired all of the details in there. I can’t stand the perfection of that place.

For lunch, Mum got the mac and cheese hot dog.

I got the black bean burger, and I loved this. The burger was made out of black beans and it is something very different from your normal basic burger. I would recommend this to anyone.

After lunch, we went back over to Harambe because we had a FP for Kilimanjaro.

Forever obsessed with AK details.

After we got off the safari, we drove over to MK because I needed FoF. I am sorry, guys! Just a little obsessed. You’re welcome.

The tram took 5evah and I didn’t think we would get a good spot. It was inching 2:30.

We got on Main Street and surprisingly, it wasn’t too crowded. We got a PERFECT spot second row looking right down Main St. And THANK GOD the tarp was down off the Confectionery.

April 12th (part 2): The obsession is real

OOOH CHOCOLATE!

Well hi perfection.

The Lost Boys are life.

I just died.

After the parade got over, we went into the Emporium and I got the IASW 50th shirt. I really wanted a pin but they sold out of those on the first day. I really wanted something for the 50th and all they had was the shirt so that was gonna have to do. I actually did find a different IASW50 pin in Frontierland afterwards. It is really cute.

We had to leave after that because we were volunteering at GKTW. So off to the TTC we went.​

April 13th (part 1): Didn't I just see this parade the day before...

We got to MK and the Easter Bunny and Mrs. Bunny barely had any line so we got in it. Don’t ask.

Their area was nicely decorated for spring.

Yours truly with the Bunnies.

They even had free Peeps after you met them!

Then we got a spot for FoF LOLOLOL I AM NOT EVEN SORRY.

If you want a shaded spot on Main Street though, sit right in front of the Emporium facing the Confectionery. It is always shady there at that time.

For some odd reason, FoF didn’t start until 3:30 down in Frontierland. So it got to Main St at almost 4. I don’t even know.

So a lot my shots during the Little Mermaid floats were duds because my next pics are of the Lost Boys…

April 13th (part 2): An afternoon with small people and ghosts

Wow I only have one more good shot from the parade. That is just sad.

After it got over, we made our way to IASW because we had a FP. Yes, sounds ridiculous but the lines are always so long and I don’t wait. Let’s be real now.

After we got off, we went over to 7DMT.

PLANTERS!!!

We went to Big Top Souvenirs so I could look for pins. Got distracted though by these perfect apples. And, yes that is the Easter bunny. I know he looks demented.

Then we went to go look at 7DMT some more because duh.

We were getting hungry so we decided to go to Columbia Harbor House.

Mum got the tuna sandwich. I tried some and it was good quality for QS. I would get that next time.

I got the fish. It was decent. Nothing really special.

After we ate, we went to go visit my Mansion since it is right there.

HOME.

Then we ended back up at 7DMT what.

We took the walkway to Tomorrowland.

Since the next day was Monday, we decided to go and head home.

April 19th (part 1): Podcast at the Fish and I get to be five

We got to MK around 1.

Frozen balloons FTW.

We had to find our friend Matt who was working in Adventureland because I had to give him something. We talked to him for several minutes before he had to get back to work.

Then we made our way over to Frontierland and met up with Susan aka jecskc here on the DIS. It was so great to see her and we talked to her and her family for a little bit before they had a BTMR FP to use.

We said goodbye and then we had to leave the park and head over to the Swan and Dolphin.

The bus line was so long. Of course it was.

Since it was taking about 10 years, we just got off at the Boardwalk and walked over. It probably took longer than taking the bus but oh whale.

The DISunplugged was doing a live Easter podcast at the Dolphin pool so of course we went over to watch.

Matt ended up getting an ER from work so we sat with him during the podcast.

It was a little hard to hear because of the noise at the pool but whatever. It was still great.

And then the Easter bunny came over and we were DYING laughing. It was the craziest show evah.

After the show got over, they had a ton of food out and we all got to pig out. I think it was from the pool bar and it was really good. And the whole podcast team brought baked goods. We didn’t even have to get dinner! We also talked to some of the podcast team for a few.

We wanted to go to Epcot so we walked through the Dolphin and then made our way over to Crescent Lake. We walked over with this woman who was at the podcast that just moved to Florida. I totally forget her name but whatever.

Oh, and I also used the bathroom in the Dolphin and there was a giant cockroach in my stall so there’s that…

Anyways, once we got to Epcot, we parted ways with the woman we were walking with and headed to Duffy Central.

So that’s adorable.

The purpose of coming to Epcot was because I wanted to do the Easter egg hunt. I am five years old. Deal with it.

April 19th (part 2): In which I earn my egg hunt gold medal and WHERE ARE MY DOLE WHIPS

We went back to Duffy Central and I got my prize.

Here are your choices.

Well of course I got Chip, duh.

We had a FP to use at Test Track so we made our way over there.

Those details, yo.

I love the girl though in our row that looks like she is trying to get out of our car.

Since our car was at the TTC, we took the monorail back there.

We stopped at the pin station first, which has been taken over by Magic Bands.

Um, twin.

We decided to take the monorail over the Poly because why not.

They had a ton of cute pre-made Easter baskets there. But that price tag…..

We decided to check out Captain Cooks since it had moved. Very interesting, to say the least.

We just split the pork sandwich that was new to the menu. It was good, but nothing to rave about.

After we ate, we checked out where Captain Cook’s once was. All of the walls are up, but they have one section that you can see through the window. They have probably covered this since we went, but I haven’t checked.

I peeked through and saw that THE DOLE WHIP MACHINE HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT WHAT THE CRAP.

I marked really well where the machine once was. I am sorry for the crap pic, but it was really dark in there.

We were both really sad when we saw that sight, so we went up to the Tambu Lounge to get bread pudding to make us feel better.

We don’t joke around, people.

I had brought my tripod on this day because I wanted to shoot Wishes from the TTC. It said on MDE that it was at 10 but while we were eating, I heard the Wishes music and SURE ENOUGH there were fireworks outside. WHAT THE CRAP MDE.

Twin, don’t make a comment……..

So we just headed back to the TTC and drove on home. We had big plans for the next day!​

April 20th (part 1): "Did she just call me fat?"

We had an ADR for Cape May Café for breakfast. That’s how we do Easter, yo. #dislife.

We checked in and waited about five minutes to be seated.

After we got seated and ordered drinks, we went up to the buffet.

My first plate.

Mum’s first plate.

Donald came by and I had food in my mouth, so that is why I look like a chipmunk. And um, Donald was not that great. The interaction was horrible with him. He came over, came moi a hug, and left.

Minnie came by and she was great. Very energetic. And I look awful once again. And look. I have something on my shirt. #wheresmybib

After Minnie came by, we went up to get more food.

Da noms on my plate tho. And guys, whipped cream and chocolate chips on Mickey waffles >>>>

Since it was Easter and all, they had cupcakes and candy out! WHOOP WHOOP.

Goofy came by and he was ok. Better than Donald.
And I am sorry that the picture is blurry. Mum claims that she doesn’t take blurry pictures, but as we can see, that is false.

We paid and crap, and headed out.

The display they had goin in the front was awesome.

The CM up there asked if we wanted her to take our picture. She claimed that she was great at photography. So I left it on manual if she was so great. I don’t even think she knew how to work my camera.

And then she said something and I don’t remember exactly what it was but Mum said to me after “did she just call me fat?”

We walked on over to the parking lot and hopped in the car to drive to MK.

Since it was Easter, they had all of these girls out all over the park. I forget exactly what they are, but they are from Georgia. Important info, I know.

We looked in the Emporium for a few. I found this IASW boat thing for the bathtub and it was so cute. I can’t deal with the tag.

We then headed to 7DMT to check out the progress.

April 20th (part 2): THE EASTER PRE-PARADE THO

WELL HI THERE, SIGN.

Can we just talk about how there was crack in the walls.

Not even sorry for the 7DMT spam. Just wait.

Oh, by the way. Anna and Elsa started meeting on this day, and surprisingly, the wait time was ONLY three hours.

But then it was four hours shortly after so.

We just walked around the park for awhile. Made our way through Adventureland and Frontierland….

And then we got a spot for FoF in Liberty Square so there’s that….

But can we talk about the cuteness that is the Easter pre-parade.

April 20th (part 3): A short but sweet FoF chapter

So then the regular parade came through, duh. And you guys are in luck today! I didn’t get a ton of good shots at all on this day. Sad, I know.

April 20th (part 4): Pizza for holiday dinners is how we roll​

We decided to head out of the park and took the monorail to the Contemporary.

I didn’t know this but the Contemporary also has an easter egg display! I had not seen one person report that they have one, but this was the first time they have done this so that explains that.

Do we notice that the peeps are all different Disney characters cause that is awesome.

CAN WE LIKE NOT

They also had Easter baskets at the Contemporary. And they were just as expensive as the Poly’s.

Why do they even sell this.

We decided to go down to the boat dock and go to WL because WHY NOT.

Home.

We went up to the pin station so I could look at the pin book and they replaced it with a board! That makes me sad.

Since it was getting close to dinner time, we went to Roaring Fork and split a flatbread and a sugar cookie. Two words: Easter dinner. Seriously, are we like on the Carousel of Progress or what.

We took the boat back to MK after we ate and we were just gonna head back to the TTC but we went back into MK and to Guest Relations. We wanted to find one of the bricks we have at MK. Now, I say we, but it is really just Mum. I wasn’t even born yet so…

The CM went into the back and came back out with a map and showed us where it is.

Now, it was right near the entrance to the Express Monorail on the map. If you know where the Express entrance is, you know that when you are walking up, on your left, there is a big area that is blocked off. And it has a security gate so there’s that. We asked a CM if we could go in there to look for our brick, and he said that we would have to ask a security CM and he let us in there. Now, he actually didn’t even have to let us in because of where it is, you can see it as you are walking up to Express. It is in the roped off area but is right there. So no one can even step on it!

We have walked past it a million times and didn’t even know it was there!

Very cool.

Since we were right there, we took Express and went to the TTC.​

That's exactly where I thought you were located. When I go back, I'll have to see if I can get a spot there. I saw it straight on the second time I witnessed it, but I was on the balcony of Main St. Station so the flagpole was right down the middle.

April 25th (part 1): The obsession with 7DMT is real

We got to MK and went into the Emporium.

These new mugs are da best.

We went into Sir Mickey’s after we made our way down Main St.

They had a ton of Frozen merch out and it was just funny watching people grab handfuls of dolls or whatever.

Let’s be real, the real reason going to Fantasyland was to see 7DMT.

GAHHHHH.

They had taken down all of the walls so this was my first time seeing the cottage and the queue and everything and OH MY GOD.

From the front and to the right of the entrance, you can see the cars go by at the end of the ride. So all of a sudden, I heard and saw a car go by and I SCREAMED. I mean, I had already seen them testing before but I guess with seeing the queue and everything, I just got so excited or something. So there I was screaming because MINE TRAIN FEELS and people were looking at me because the way I screamed sounded like I was being murdered. No, I just get excited over mine trains. Deal with it.

So enjoy my pics of the queue and stuff!

And then they just started sending car after car through the track and I was DYING.

We went around the back and saw the train come down “the big drop.” And I am sorry these pics are overexposed. I was freaking out and didn’t change my settings and I really don’t feel like editing these so.

We had a FP to use for JOTLM so I said bye to my mine train for all of like five minutes.

And then we went right back to watching 7DMT. This should not be a surprise to anyone.

April 25th (part 2): YOU'RE GONNA GET WET!

There was a hole in the planters in the front so I poked my camera through to take pictures.

I am in LOVE with all of the little animals throughout the queue and ride.

On the left side of the planters, there was a little space between the planters and fence that I squeezed into and took some pictures. You’re welcome.

CMs were even peeking through the planters.

We had a FP to use for Splash so we had to say goodbye to 7DMT. I was very sad.

Of course we had to take a selfie after we got soaked.

I am insane.

We went over to the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe because why not.

Even the flowers in Liberty Square are themed.

These ornaments were new to moi.

Then we went over to Tomorrowland and went on the TTA.

April 25th (part 3): The cool kids use long exposure

I had my tripod with me and I really wanted to take some pictures of Dumbo with long exposure.

I love the results I got.

I folded up my tripod and walked over to the castle walls to set up for Wishes.

Now, I knew that 95% of the fireworks were going to be behind me if I faced the castle with my tripod. It’s not like I was clueless and didn’t know that going into it. Now, Mum made a big deal out of it and God knows why. And um, we have seen Wishes how many times before so it was just a different perspective this time around.

I like these pictures and it is a different perspective. I just think there are better spots to watch Wishes, but I am glad that I got these shots.

I packed up my tripod and we went to the Emporium because I was going to get that Punzie mug for my twin and the Snow mug for moi.

It was PACKED in there. I mean, I get it being after Wishes and all, but God. I have never seen so many people in that place and the lines were insane.

After I bought my mugs, we took the monorail to the TTC.​
