October 6th (part 1): A fun filled Sunday with food and pigs

We got to Epcot at almost 11 and it was pretty packed. Like always.

We went to Club Cool to get a drink first and then over to the Festival Center.

Forever obsessed with these flowers.

MY LOVE.

Like stop.

We added more money onto our gift card and then we were on our way!

We headed into World Showcase and the lines didn’t seem that bad at all…?

Before FOOD TIME, we got in line to meet Duffy.

I had to meet him in his Halloween outfit, even though we have a rocky history.

I have to say, we are adorable.

After that, we got in line for Australia and got the shrimp. It was REALLY good.

Next up was China.

We got the pot stickers and both enjoyed them!

We ate the pot stickers at Lotus Blossom because it was SO hot outside. We couldn’t take it.

Next we got the pasta gratin in Germany and I WAS IN LOVE. Thank GOD it was better than the other two items they have there.

And um the F&W set up in the train thingy is adorable.

Next up was Poland. We got the pierogi. The kielbasa with it was AMAZING.

We chilled in the Chase Lounge for a little bit and got a window seat. Perf.

We made our way back to Germany and Mum got a caramel cookie and we browsed through the shops.

We walked until we got to France and I got an ice cream. And of course, I made a total mess.

In love with WS.

We looked around in the UK for a bit and then moved onto Canada.

The UK is perfect.

Found these in Canada. Everyone is getting these for Christmas. My fave is beaver butt.

We made our way into Future World and looked around Mouse Gear. And then we went into Innoventions because it was SO nice and cool in there.

And then I saw this pig making a deer face.

AND IT WAS TIME!

I had been bugging Mum for MONTHS to do the Great Piggy Bank Adventure with moi and she finally agreed to do it. YAYYYY!!!

Like I literally can’t.

Not many people were playing the game and I don’t understand that. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.

I named my pig Fred. I was really excited.

If you haven’t played the Great Piggy Bank Adventure, you have to save up for something, whether that may be a vacation, college, etc. Of course, we saved up for a vacation.

AND WE DID IT!

Shocker, I know.

At the end, you get stickers.

After I said bye to Fred, we went over to the Vision House and it was actually pretty cool. It shows you how to save energy and new technology. And the house was sick. The toilet was even heated. Yes, I felt it. Get on moi’s level.​

October 6th (part 2): In which soda is annoying

We decided to head out at this point and take a bus to the Wilderness because I missed my home.

We went to Roaring Forks and got some dinner.

Both of us got salads. Mum got a caeser and I don’t know what mine was called but it was really good.

We also got a soda. From the machine. Aka Rapid Fill. Aka I was about to shoot myself.

So I got my cup and no soda would come out. You have to put it down in the ledge thingy so it can read the stupid RFID chip in the paper cup. So I did and kept pressing the button and no soda. The other machine was having the same problem.

A CM came over, asked what the problem was, I showed her. It kept telling moi to place my cup on the tray. IT WAS ON THE TRAY.

So she had to get her manager and he came out with a RFID card and put it under my cup.

AND OUT CAME SODA!

The screen also said that I had 195 refills left. I don’t even know.

But Rapid Fill <<<<

I was literally at the soda machine for over 10 minutes. Ridiculous.

After we ate, we went outside and I basically died from the beauty of my house.

I literally can’t take it.

We then headed to the bus stop, took a bus back to Epcot, and headed home.​

October 12th (part 1): A relaxing afternoon in Disney

We went to the Down Syndrome walk this morning in Orlando with the DISunplugged team. It was a lot of fun!

And of course, we went to Disney after that.

What else is new.

We went over to DTD and it took 5ever to find a spot. Seriously, I don’t even know why we even bother sometimes. It is so ridiculous.

We went to all of the wonderful stores over there and I exchanged my lanyard AP carrier thing for a new one since it ripped off.

I lost it again.

On RnRC.

It is somewhere on the tracks.

Awesome.

Anways…

I found this awesome shirt. Like I love it.

We then went to the bus stop and took a bus over to my Wilderness. Even though we were just there. #dislife

The bus took about ten years. This shouldn’t surprise anyone.

We got to WL and I found some great pins in the pin book.

It looks like I wrote “I found some great PMS” in my journal though.

MOVING ON…

But here is the cure to PMS. A Mickey bar.

And I can I just say how much I love this.

After I finished my snack, we went over to the boat to head to the most magical kingdom of all.

Perfection.

Once we got into MK, we headed to Fantasyland to write in the Blue Fairy book. I love to read what everyone writes.

Then we made our way over to the Liberty Belle for a relaxing ride.

Like I am in love with this picture.

For some odd reason, a train was just sitting there on BTMR.

After that, we went into the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and met this awesome CM who was personalizing ornaments. So we went to City Hall and told a manager how awesome he was and filled out a slip. Please do this for a great CM if you have one!

Pretty fall flowers on the way.

The TTA was next.

I am in love with the back of the car.

We made our way to Storybook Circus, where I did some pin trading.

Then we headed to Main St so we could make our way out of the park.

October 12th (part 2): A wagon ride at the Fort!

We left MK and the sunset was literally AMAZING.

We took the boat over to the Fort for some dinner. I WAS HUNGRY!

But more sunset pics cause duh. We can never have too many.

We got to the Fort and got some FRIED CHICKEN!

So I got a table and Mum waited for the food and some random dude just sat down and I was like “um yo get away.” He finally left when Mum came back and he was around for the rest of the night. Like I know I am awesome and all, but don’t stalk moi. Seriously.

Like always, the fried chicken was amazing.

After dinner, we waited for the 8:30 wagon ride. They have the wagon and the carriage ride at the Fort. Wagon rides run two times every night and I think you have to reserve the carriage ride and it is more expensive. The wagon ride is only $8 for adults so that is a deal, if you ask moi.

And it lasts like forever. Well, 45 minutes but it seemed like we were out there for so long. The wagon can also hold about 20-25 people.

Since it was Halloween season, we HAD to take a ride around to see all of the decorations. We are SO going to have to go again to see all of the Christmas stuff.

Some of the displays were SO cool. People go all out.

And when the ride was almost over, Wishes was going on ♥

After the wagon ride, we took a bus to DTD so we could get our car.

I got a cookie for a quick snack and Mum lost her sunglasses. Good times…

We headed home so we could get some rest to go back to WDW the next day ​

October 13th (part 1): "Is this the line for Splash Mountain?"

I don’t even know why we went to MK.

Oh my GOD.

We should’ve left right then and there at the TTC.

Express monorail was down. Resort wasn’t running, which was planned.

That leaves the ferryboat, which I can’t stand.

The line for the ferryboat stretched all the way back to the entrance to Express and wrapped around like four times. Like yeah it was holiday weekend and all so I expected it to be busy, but REALLY NOW. Disney did not have those crowds under control.

Once we actually made it through the turnstiles, a whole hour had passed since we parked. I am not even kidding. Why we didn’t leave, I don’t know.

I needed a reward. So off to the Confectionary we went!

Da noms.

We then sat down at the Tomorrowland Terrace so Mum could call Lost and Found for her sunglasses, since they were prescription and all. No luck.

And of course while Mum was on the phone with a CM…

“HEY GET UP GET LOUD START PUMPING UP THE PARTY NOW!”

First of all, why on EARTH, do they still play that song, and second of all, WHY.

So Mum started swearing at the parade.

Good times…

It was almost lunch time since it TOOK SO LONG TO GET INTO MK, so we went to check out the line for BOG. Surprisingly, the line wasn’t that bad considering how packed the park was.

A girl came up to us while we were in line.

“Is this the line for Splash Mountain?”

I swear to GOD.

She said that. I basically died. Mum told her “no, get away you uneducated idiot.” Or maybe I said that… I can’t remember.

All in all, we waited about 40 minutes in line.

“There’s something there that wasn’t there before…”

I will never stop loving you.

I have to say, there were like no CMs working. They had one CM bussing tables in the ballroom and she was going at the speed of a snail. Like, woman, let me give you lessons on bussing a table, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

The main point of going to lunch at BOG was the grey stuff cupcake.

I have to say, I wasn’t blown away by it. It was good and all, but it really didn’t have that much flavor and it was a little dry. I would rather a strawberry cupcake any day.

We did get other lunch items, of course.

The usual.

After lunch, Gaston was out and we were going to meet him, but HIS LINE WAS CLOSED WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO US.

Meh.

Perfection.

We made our way out of Fantasyland, and out of the park actually because the crowds were unbearable.

We headed to Express and took my fave monorail over to Epcot.

When we got there, we went to the Seas, rode the short but wonderful ride, and did Turtle Talk.

I also said hi to this little fella.

After that, I decided to take some pics for the monorail so we waited around until it came.

Then we went over to Imagination so I could take more pictures.

We made our way into WS and went right for the Chase Lounge so we could get wristbands for private viewing for Illuminations. And we got there at the perfect time because they were almost out. BOO YA!

And then we played Yahtzee: Nightmare Before Christmas Edition for over an hour.

I am not even kidding.

We were charging our phones and since we were going to be there for a while, we played Yahtzee. In Epcot. I don’t even know.

Like I know it sounds ridiculous, BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! We were getting into it.

90 minutes later… We made our way to the Ireland booth so we could get FOOD!

We got the cheese plate and all of the cheeses were great and so was the bread. It came with like this raisin chutney stuff on the side and that was gross.

October 13th (part 2): That one time that I met the CHEWY CARAMEL BAR!

After Ireland, we made our way over to Florida Local.

We got the beef slider again. That thing is SO good.

We walked around WS after that and then I noticed THIS SUNSET.

Like, I couldn’t deal.

Seriously, it was amazing.

We then went to Karamell Kuche and got the new chewy caramel bar.

AND HOLY MOTHER OF GOD IT WAS AMAZING. LIKE AMAZING. LIKE YOU GUYS NEED TO GET IT. I AM DEAD SERIOUS. Yes, THAT GOOD!

We brought it over to the private viewing area and pigged out.

And I laughed because so many people got kicked out BAHAHHAH.

There was also a giant wedding reception going on.

“Why don’t we know anyone like that?!” – Mum

After an hour, Illuminations started.

I didn’t get great pictures, which I am a little disappointed about. I need to go get some with my tripod pretty soon.

Here are a few anyways.

After Illuminations, we made our way to the monorail station.

MK was open pretty late so EVERYONE was heading there. And of course we were parked at the TTC. We had to wait for about 4 monorails until we got on one. And they had two running……

By the time we got home, it was pretty late.​

October 15th: GLOW WITH THE SHOW!/October 18th (part 1): Rants, rants, and even more Fantasmic

So we went to MGM on the 15th because it was the premiere of Glow With the Show and it was Fantasmic’s 15th anniversary.

(I have some pics from this night but I didn’t take any notes so this will be short.)

Mum picked moi up from school and off we went!

Now, we hadn’t been to MGM since August. And that was a very brief visit. I really wasn’t looking forward to go back but GLOW WITH THE SHOW.

We got to MGM and literally headed straight for Fantasmic.

And on the way, we bumped into our friend Matt, his friend Kim, and if you listen to the DISunplugged, Jeff and Val Alves and Skip Potter! So we all sat together. It was pretty fun!

And remember how we got those free glow with the show ear hats from the Disney parks blog meet up? Yeah they didn’t work. No wonder they were free… So THANK GOD a CM let us exchange them for the new and improved ones. YAY!

I tried to get some pics of the ear hats with the show and just the ear hats. I couldn’t take my eyes off of them!

AND BTW ME AND MATT WERE THE FIRST GUESTS EVER WITH GLOW WITH THE SHOW EAR HATS THAT ENTERED THE AMPITHEATER. EVER.

Why I feel so proud about that, I don’t know.

And since Disney was filming, they gave everyone in the dinner package ears. Ridiculous…

LIKE STOP.

After the show, we said bye to everyone and then headed out of the park.

On Friday, I wanted to see Fantasmic again. Like, I really didn’t get to enjoy the show cause I was so focused on the ears so we went back to MGM. Ew, I know.

And we had a ton of time to spare. Like I truly didn’t know what to do.

So I wanted a cupcake. From Starring Rolls of course.

It was about 3:30, just sayin’.

AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW.

STARRING CRAPPIN’ ROLLS IS CLOSED AND I WAS SO MAD.

Like, you guys don’t understand. I wanted a red velvet cupcake. Badly. I STILL HAVENT GOTTEN ONE. And it has been almost a year since my last one.

I was furious.

So we had to go to Sweet Spells to get this overpriced crap.

Then we went to go meet Sofia the First.

Yes, I am in love with her. Judge moi.

I was like the oldest “kid” in line. Whatev.

We had to wait 5EVER to meet her cause there were so many little dudes but IT WAS SO WORTH IT!

WE ARE SO CUTE!

Then we went to go meet Ralph and Vanellope and it was so awkward and Ralph is SO big. Like I ain’t hatin’ on pooh sized people, yo. He is just gigantic. It was weird.

We then did the animation class and we drew Piglet. Mine came out like crap. Mum’s came out like crap. It’s all good.

FROZEN!

It was almost dinner time at this point, and I wanted food.

So we were going to go to Backlot Express.

It was about 5:35 when we went over there.

I was basically done at that point.

IT WAS CLOSED. CLOSED I TELL YOU!!! CLOSED!!!!

AT FIVE CRAPPIN THIRTY!

It was like August all over again…

The ONLY THING OPENED was Pizza Planet so we went over there.

And let me tell you, we had the WORST. CM. EVER. Oh my dear god, she was awful. No personality whatsoever and she was just bad. Like I know you are working at MGM and all, but CHEER UP FOR GOD SAKE!

Here is our disgusting food. Seriously, I was not happy with it. The pizza was rock hard. I am not even kidding.

I also went to use the bathroom in there. First of all, the bathroom felt just dirty, and second of all, parents need to control their children. There was a little girl running around with no pants on. Oh MGM…

Since there was nothing else left to do at that park, we went to go sit down for Fantasmic. Which was in 90 minutes. I didn’t even care.

We found a spot in Brazil.

Like, there were SO many Brazilians around. With SO many iPads. I was done at that point.
