August 25th (part 1): That time Mum was a wizard and I ranted about Test Track
We left our house at 9 and headed to Epcot.
My life.
We got to park pretty close so we just walked up to the turnstiles, which was so nice. Not having to take the tram is the best thing ever.
Once we got inside, we headed straight to Test Track to get FPs.
We really werent sure what to do so we went to Universe of Energy.
This was my very first time on UoE and I thought you just stood in the big room the whole time and I was like well this is really stupid. And then I saw the doors open up and I felt really dumb.
I thought it was just ok. Definitely not a must do by any means, but it has AC. So that means that it is wonderful.
We looked around in Mouse gear for a few and oh my god it was DEAD in there. Aka heavenly.
Before we made our way into World Showcase, we got some soda at Club Cool cause I was thirsty and we are broke.

We made our way into the UK and asked a CM about Jack and Sally (like why we went to Epcot) and she said it is a surprise to all of the CMs and they have no clue when they will come out. They didnt come out that day. (they were doing
MNSSHP training at this time).
The next day they did.
Of course.
We decided to people watch from a bench in front of Rose and Crown and then the World Showcase players came out and it was basically the best thing ever.
Why?
Because of THIS.
Mum had to be an old woman wizard and she had that role down pat. Idk why she wasnt in drama in high school. And I didnt realize this, but she has a very good evil laugh. Like, dont get on her bad side or else she might do that laugh (hasnt happened to moi. Yet). Just sayin.
It was priceless.
And Mum got a button! How special.
After that, we made our way over to the Land because I wanted a snack.
We came across this duck who was smoking a cigarette (you can barely tell in this pic but "he really was").

When we were heading up to the land, these people came up to us and asked if we wanted Soarin FPs that were good in 20 minutes. UMMMM YES PLEASE.
There are some good people in this world.
We headed down to Sunshine Seasons and grabbed a snack.
I got the red velvet whoopee pie and it was good, but a tad bit dry.
Mum got the apple caramel crunch, and I dont even know what it was. She described it as a cheesecake and liked it, I guess. (sorry for the crappy pic).
After we ate, we headed on Soarin.
And found a magic band sitting on the ground.
We picked it up and we were like
.ummmm.
So we looked around the line and found a family with magic bands and one person wasnt wearing one so we asked them and she was SO happy that we returned it to her. I thought she was going to give us a hug or something.
After Soarin we headed over to Test Track.
They had the cast entrance open by Soarin which I found weird, but we thought maybe they did because the escalators are not working.

We got to TT and the FP line was about five miles long. I swear to God. We waited for over 20 minutes, which I do not approve of. If they didnt have the stupid design your car, there wouldnt be a problem

My thoughts on the ride:
I am so not a fan. Like, it isnt even the same ride as before. Every time Disney changes something awesome, it turns out crappy. For the most part.
Example: Princess Fairytale Hall.
Ok, the place is GORGEOUS but I am stilland always will bebitter about Snow White. Like I think the Disney executives were taking drugs the day they came up with Princess Fairytale Hall and thought having another princess meet and greet location was a good thing. Now, I dont want this to come across as the place is a dump cause it is NOT. The theming is amazing and I was blown away when I stepped in. BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SNOW CRAPPIN WHITE HERE DUDES.
Back to test track
Now, I think it is cool that you can test out the car you designed and all of that, but the ride is boring. There is NO theme to it whatsoever and all in all, it is dumb and Disney never shouldve changed it.
But anyways.

After our wonderful no theme ride on Test Track, we headed into World Showcase.
Obsessed with Disney flowers. Just not the bees.
We made our way down to China to get some lunch.
Both of us got the shrimp fried rice and I got the awesome strawberry smoothie.
After we ate, we made our way around the world.
CHOOOO CHOOO.
That sky looks pretty.
We just HAD to make a stop in Morocco.
BFFS. THAT IS ALL.
Hello, I've been reading along and had some time in between work, kids and the busyness of life to squeeze in a post. lol I wanted to say that I really enjoy reading your TR's! They are funny and unique. That is amazing that you and your mom were able to move to FL, and it's great how close you are to Disney. If a bad day at school or in general, a quick stop in DTD or even one of the parks is a nice retreat and can really make a bad day all better..... I dream of moving our family down there but what you're mom is going thru with difficulty finding a job, that's what I fear. So I will stick to taking our annual or bi annual trips and just keep dreaming of living there. lol
