A couple of questions which I probably already know the answer to but always like to double check.

1.) I am past my PIF date and I did an OBB. I changed my original reservation from the Fantasy to the Dream for this May and maintained my OBB benefit. My question is if I change my stateroom is there a fee to do so and do I lose my benefits. (i.e. does this count as another change causing me to lose an OBB benefit or is merely seen as an upgrade like changes to WDW reservations.)

2.) If I changed staterooms what would I do with luggage tags that I already received. Cross out room number and put new one on?

3.) I already ordered stuff for in room will it automatically go to the new room and has anyone had any issues with this?

4.) I thought about ordering from the Perfect Gift does she need you stateroom number or just reservation number, ship and sail date? We will be sailing on Mothers Day how far in advance should I order something if I do? Any problems with what you ordered being deliverd to your stateroom? And for people who have used her services she delivers on Sundays right? And is she able to customize packages on her site fairly easy to fit budget? She has a wonderful looking package that is posted on her facebook page. :goodvibes

5.) I will most likely keep the room I got but this might be good information for future cruises :goodvibes I am currently in an 8D but there is a 6A that opened up for $108 more. Is this a good price? Would you keep the 8D?

If you are talking about upgrading your cabin (from the cat 8 to cat 6), you would keep all your benefits and just pay the difference. There's no penalty or extra fee to upgrade. If you do upgrade and know your cabin #, you would just cross off the old number on your luggage tags and write in the new ones. (If you aren't comfortable with that, when you get to whatever place you turn your luggage over to DCL - airport, resort or port - you can get new luggage tags and just have the new cabin # on them.) $106 seems like a good price to upgrade to a verandah cabin -- if you are going to use it. If not, use the money to do something else on board or in port or buy yourself something to remember the cruise. It's only a value if you think it's valuable.

As for the Perfect Gift, can't answer that part for you, sorry.

Just wanted to add that I would keep the 8D. It is a bigger room than the 5-7s, with the addition of the room at the end of the couch for the pull-down bed in some rooms and double the cabinet space in the desk area. I was disappointed to discover this when we booked a cat 5 on our 3/23 cruise due to the price glitch opening day. We will stick with cat 8s from now on when cruising on the Fantasy due to the extra room.

In regards to Shirley, call her and talk to her about what your budget is and what you want. She will put together a beautiful basket for you. :)

Thanks. I decided to keep the 8. They look so beautiful if I want to be on deck I will just go to Deck 4 :). Last time we had a 11C on the Magic (it was a nice room) but looking forward to the huge porthole that is big enough for me to stand in :rotfl:. (I am very short ;))
