Multiple TV owners ever noticed this?

I notice that two between my little TV and the big TV in the living room and we just have cable, no Tivo.

We also get a delay between our 2 TV's. We have DirecTV both with a Tivo and they are still delayed.

4 Tv's in my small 4 room house. 2 have tivo and cable boxes. They are delayed from each other, the other 2 have no box or tivo. They are delayed also. It drives me crazy as I can hear each one.

we have 5 tvs. (kitchen/diningroom, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, living room) I noticed this many years ago. I would be watching the same channel as someone and be on the phone with them and I could catch the delay. then I started watchin in my house, and its here too. I think it is how the signal travels. :confused3

We have two TV's on cable, one is on TIVO, but there is no delay between them. :confused3

When we had satellite in one room though, there was like a 5 second delay between that TV and the other 2 that used a local signal.

Yes- we just got TiVo and noticed this right away.

I guess that's part of how TiVo does what it does. I love the thing!!!

I imagine that Tivo is buffereing the info.
