MULTIPLE SDMT Rides Before Park Opening!

If Disney is allowing BOG bf people multiple rides on SDMT it is because they know the word will spread like wildfire. I see the price of BOG breakfast going up up up!
Given the proximity to the 2 most popular attractions in Disney this breakfast is a goldmine for them and could become the most sought after adr in all of Disney.

Come to think of it, I don't think you're far off base. I'll add that it actually seems that BOG breakfast isn't doing all that well. Sure, the first round of ADRs went like hotcakes, but go pick practically any day in the second release. It's still wide open, at least for the 12 days I'm there at the end of June/beginning of July. It could really use a boost, and getting to ride mine train first may be what's needed.

Unless I'm missing something, there are many people who would like pre-opening ADRs who can't get them because others got them first. Just a few moments later on the keyboard. Just like FP (any kind), there is a limited commodity.
Or because others are holding onto more than 1 reservation.

What's funny is right below your post, suggesting that Disney needs to push a 15 minute window of dining reservations because they're doing badly, is a quote from someone who suggests how unfair it all is because there are people who would like to book but can't find an opening because it's so popular.

Here's what I know- one of you is wrong.:teeth:

Not necessarily. Just because something is booked up or hard to get for one period of time doesn't mean it isn't available (maybe even widely available) for another time.

This is clearly not ADR related, but on my last trip (Thanksgiving week), I saw a line for Living with the Land that I frankly could not believe. Other trips? No line at all.

It's why it's hard to call into question what anyone says here. Just because one person saw an outrageous FP kiosk line, and another saw hardly any lines on their trip doesn't mean both can't be true.

Nah, I'm going to stick with one of them is wrong. It cannot be so popular that people can't get reservations yet so unpopular that they had to add a free ride to get people to come. The end of June is a very busy time- if the reservations are wide open then, I'm not sure when they'd be more busy outside of holidays.

I agree about fast changing instances like dirty bathrooms or fp+ lines or busy kiosks. But the popularity of a restaurant is a bit different.

Well, again, because I'm procrastinating cleaning my house ;), I just checked May 30, June 1 and June 2 and found no availability, so I think there are times when it's booked solid and times when it's available ... like a lot of things.

I checked for a party of 4, if that makes a difference.

I just checked BOG for breakfast for June 10,11,12,13,14 and 15 and there was no availability for any of those days. That could very well loosen up a few days before each of those dates as the people who have hoarded more ADR's than they intend to actually use begin to decide which ones they will keep.

Ok- has nothing to do with the comments I originally made. At least in no way I'm able to discern.

Do people really do that?

I heard someone got some free popcorn yesterday at MK. Its unfair that they received free popcorn just because they happened to book their trip before mine and were standing in the right place at the right time. People get their feathers ruffled over some pretty stupid stuff.

Well the story I heard was the whole family got popcorn. Really, it's outrageous. If one person gets free popcorn, everyone should!

Honestly, I feel really, really bad about taking those back to back rides on the TOT. I wish I could give them back. Maybe I'll give someone my fp...wait, can't do that anymore! See? This is all FP+'s fault! I knew it!! ;)

And if you book it as a throwaway, it would only be $10. Not that I would do that though.

Why not? Impress your friends and neighbors - "We were able to ride that new(ish) coaster 3 times before the park even opened!" You'll be the envy of the neighborhood.

I will have a full-on come-apart if I strategically schedule my ADRs based on "best days" on that not to be linked to site only to have WDW go and change their hours to render my reservation impotent.
It won't be pretty.
Get ready this happened to us in March at CP. No biggy to us we saw the change a week out, cancelled our ADR and just did RD. Saved the money and enjoyed a dinner at another restaurant.

Why worry so much about what others are doing......My concern is my experience....I can't do anything about whats going on in the park when I'm NOT in the park. I make my vacation........not what others do. Ahhh but that's me. :P

Doug :goofy:

Those dates were in the first round, with all the hype. The second round of dates, June 19-July 18, still have lots of availability, or at least when I'll be there, party of 6.
