Question...we'll be traveling with a large group to WDW and we're possibly thinking about the Swan w/the teacher rate. How do these rates work? I assume only one of the rooms will be charged at a lower teacher rate even though the family w/the teacher has 4 kids and needs them to share our room?

I'm not trying to be cheap, just wondering how this works.

You are allowed to book up to three rooms at the teacher rate, even though only one person in your party is a teacher.

Be sure you remember to bring proper documentation. a copy of a current teaching certificate will do.

ww52 is correct. Last summer I booked 2 rooms with my teacher rate - one for my family and one for my brother's family. At check-in, my brother had the option of paying his room (still my teacher rate) on his cc or I could put all charges on my cc and he would reimburse me later. I did latter to get spg points for both rooms.
