Multiple Dinning Reservations at the same time?

We have a large party of 16 people staying in 5 different rooms in November. The 6 month window is next week for me to start the reservations. Usually with large groups I am forced to call in to reserve restaurants because the online system is not very "large group" friendly and never has a table open for that big of a group or errors out saying "party is too big".

This time around I was going to try it a little differently in hopes of getting the restaurants we want and do it online the second it opens up. Basically make a reservation for each room (so 5 reservations) at the same restaurant at the same time so we all eat at relatively the same time even though we may not be sitting together. Tieing each reservation to their appropriate room...

The problem is the hotel reservation/ticket is all under my single My Experience account.

Will the system allow for a single sign onto My Experience to make five reservations at the same time at the same restaurant? If not, anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this situation besides the typical "just call and let the cast member deal with it"?

Thanks!

Unless something got upgraded in the last month, you won't be able to make multiple reservations within an hour of each other. I tried since I was managing a relative's reservation and their trip overlapped ours.

Do you need the 180+10 advantage? If not, then you can create different MDE accounts and book through that. Your best options is to call on your 180 days and get everything booked in one shot.

Good luck :)

1) On-line, you will have your choice of keeping the older ressie or the newer ressie.
2) Just make the ressie for 16 (at some eateries, you may need to phone call fore that many).

I was able to book 2 reservations for the same time, one at CRT for my SIL and one for my family at Biergarten, both are at 7:15pm. It took a couple of tries to figure it out, but I had to book DSIL reservation first with her as the lead then I was able to make the other reservation with myself as the lead. I also did it for Le Cellier because I couldn't get a reservation for 9, I had to do it for 5 and 4.

Having to set up 4 additional accounts, then looking for and booking 5 reservations times however many meals you are booking seems like a lot of work and time consuming. Why not split the group into 2 and look for 2 reservations instead?

Most likely you won't find 5 reservations at the same time at many restaurants and even if you do, I don't know how many restaurants would be able to combine 5 reservations into one or two tables without a lengthy wait, especially if there are already larger groups checked in and waiting. At the same time, if a restaurant treats each reservation separately I would not count on everyone being seated at the same time and having the same meal pacing so there might be a considerable discrepancy in the time everyone finishes.
