Multiple CPs

Hi-
My daughter will probably apply for her second CP next Fall. She loved her job at Epcot and would love to be in that park again. If she makes a point of mentioning in her interview that she would like to go back to Epcot would they take that into consideration? Or is it pretty random what you get each time (within the jobs you've said you'd accept), even if you tell them a preferred location. In her first interview they asked her favorite Disney memory and it involved Epcot, so she's wondering if that's why they placed her there.

if she applies as early as possible and makes it known, she has a good chance of being put back in her original position. I was in golf, which is very rare for a CP. I contacted my manager and got the name of the right people, made a few calls, and got accepted back in my original position, but then had to turn it down. Nonetheless, it shows it's possible

the interview for your second CP is SOOO different from if you're a first timer.

I listened in on my DBF's interview(he's a first timer) and it was way different from mine. I'm a 2nd timer, and they basically asked what i wanted to do, where i wanted to work. and then about like, living with people. it was kinda strange. I would encourage her to apply early, and she'll pretty much surely get what she wants.

Like others said, applying early helps. I was able to get my old location (I guess not having to be re-trained there helps). Good luck to her!

Yea second interview is shorter and a bit less nervewracking then the first time. I had asked for Character Attendant and pushed that I really wanted it. What did I get? Attractions again (lol). I had to turn the offer down though because I can graduate sooner then I thought so I want to stay on track, then maybe I'll do another CP after I graduate, don't know.

They do ask you what roles you like, if you want the same role, where you wanna work, etc. It's a bit of fun.

It is always worth trying. i don't think anyone can say whether or not she's likely to get it because each individual circumstance is different... they may be hiring for only certain areas ATM, for example. But always always let them know if you have your heart set on something, that you'd prefer working there, but you would of course accept other areas as well. hope that helps... hope she gets into EPCOT
