multiple contracts, same resort question

Say for example, I buy two 100 point contracts for the same resort, same use year. When making a reservation (for example 4 nights at 26 points per night) - are you able to split a night of points (ie the 4th night would total 104 points) using both contracts? I hope that question makes sense thanks!

No problem. You can treat multiple contracts with the same use year and resort as one - assuming they are under the same master contract.

If your contracts have separate master contract numbers, you can only use points from a single contract for a single night. Unless you use your once a year transfer to transfer from one contract to another.

You can tell the difference in the types of contracts by the number of the contract. If the first set of five numbers before the decimal point are the same with only the numbers after the decimal point different, it is one master contract. If the first five numbers are different, it's different master contracts.

We have two OKW contracts - one was a resale and it has a different UY than our other contracts. We have to transfer from that contract each year to make it easier to use those points with our other existing points.

If you buy resales, they would have a different master number??? Also, if you bought your first thru resale, and added on thru Disney, would they be the same?

If you add on through Disney, unless you buy another full contract, you will get the same use year and master contract number.

Most of the time when you are a current member and buy the same UY resale, DVC will add your resale purchase under the same master contract assuming the registrants are all exactly the same. But if they don't realize and don't combine at that point, they will not fix it later from what I've been told. Usually they get it right, I've only heard of a couple of instances where they didn't.
