Multiple Accounts for Room Charging

Anyone aware if people sharing a WDW resort room can have separate accounts for each room key? It is so convenient to be able to charge meals and other park expenses on the room key.

Also, is there a way to use the room key for charging if it is not backed up by a credit card at check-in? Can a deposit be made and the card used for charging up to that amount?

I made the ressies for 2 rooms under my name and we were only allowed to charge under one credit card for all 4 room keys. The CM said that if the ressies were made separately then we could have done different cards for each room but only one credit card per room. I'm not sure about the second part of your question and could not find an answer in the resort literature. I believe the only way is to use a credit card.

In years past we used to put down a deposit with cash for the room charge. Now we just use our debit card with the Visa logo.
