Multi questions for our July trip

I am a yearly regular to Disneyland for nearly a decade but hate trying to figure out what is closed and what is showing or open.

Is Fantasmic back? If so are they jacking up the seating like WOC?
Paint the night parade still ongoing? if not did they replace it with something?
Fireworks? Which program are they doing?

It hasn't been announced about Fantasmic's return yet. Rumors are this summer but this isn't official yet. Paint the Night ended a while back. Currently the night show is the Electrical Parade through August. Someone else can chime in on which fireworks are currently showing.

Current fireworks show is RDCT. It has not been announced how long this show is scheduled to run. WOC seating has not all been 'jacked up.' Yes, there are dining packages and the Dessert Party, but there is still plenty of free FP viewing available, just like before.

And if OP was talking about FPs in general, Fantasmic had FPs and premium dining spots before it went down, too.

I was referring to the fact you could no longer sit where you wanted during fantasmic. They started doing seating like WOC which in my opinion is ridiculous

Since F! viewing changed to a FP system for safety and crowd control reasons (and it was really getting crazy, so something had to be done), I would not expect anything to change once F! returns later this year.
