Multi family trip- Help with MDE please

so let say there is 3 MDE accounts and all guests are on 3 accounts (let's take party of 12, max someone mentioned),
with separate MDE account, MDE users, have a choice of making reservation for Rides/Dining/Mobile-food-order of either
(1) for all 12 guests
AND (2) or for just their own 4 guests?

is that the only reason? have a choice of booking for all 12, or just for 4?
other than, yeah, if each MDE has their own credit card linked.

And to be less glitchy which is huge if you are doing genie+ & ILL.

Let's take my account as an example.

I have 2 kids under 6, so I manage them both. My husband has his own account. I have connected to my husband as "friends and family" and we share all plans. He has added the kids as his "friends and family". I can make plans for my husband and he can make plans for me and the kids.

For the moment I am also managing my mom's account (ugh)....so basically, right now, she cannot do anything on her own. I have to plan it for her and also be going with her. At this point in time, she probably wouldn't go to WDW on a trip where I'm not going, so it's not the end of the world...but if she decided to go with my sister at some point, it would be an annoyance for me. (And I'm not giving her my log on....ever....that's my entire Disney life)

i think i got it. so take your mom for instance. since she does not have her own MDE account, you added her to yours, entering all info. when your sister takes your mom, the only way for your mom to show up on your sister is to add her again with all mom's b-day/name/info...

but if your mom has her own MDE account, it would just be a simple of add as friends/family without entering names again.

because when I added all the guests, i do have to enter their info separately and also select the Avatar for each. there was nothing to carryover from per se.

though, very curious why a lot of forums i have heard, for party of 4, a family... hubby and wife just use SINGLE account, and was able to book genie+/LL/$LL/Dining reservation... it just depends who got their phone refreshed and see the info very fast.

but with 2 separate accounts, let say you are booking Genie+ and also hubby is too for 4 of ya, only ONE of you can successfully schedule genie+ ride ? doesn't Genie+ only allow one schedule ride at a time per person?

but if ya were doing dinner reservation, that's different story?? Hubby book resturant01, you book resturant02, same time, same guests, at the same time. then later just decide which to cancel? is my guess the benefit?

lots to learn. i think maybe some of these i won't know exactly how it works until i get to the park

Genie+ only allows one LL per person booked unless your 2 hours has passed. It has nothing to do with the number of MDE accounts you have. You can use the same account or separate accounts to book. One to book a LL one to book an ILL.
Some families have one person manage their whole family (family of 4). What is not recommended is to have one person manage multiple family groups. What is even better is for every adult to have their own MDE account and link through the friends and family.
I haven’t done ADR’s post Covid so idk if it works the same as before. Hopefully someone can advise you on that.
