Trip report Day 3 7/6/7

Today we had breakfast in the Chuck Wagon Café at 8am, this was nice just like the GMF except we didn’t have to wake up as early!
We gave Musa a pony ride after brekkie which was nice, but they gave us the lazy horse called Nougat, so we had to keep pulling him along which felt a bit bad. But Musa enjoyed it.

We’d packed most of our things the night before, so after breakfast we put the last of our things in the cases and took them to guest storage at the hotel as this service was for free. We’d asked the previous day at the park if their luggage store was a free service but they said we’d have to pay a certain amount for different size bags, sorry I can’t remember what the prices were. So after we’d left our luggage we saw Pluto outside for a photo and this time we were able to get a picture with all of us in it and it came out really nice too.
We went straight to DSP and had a go on Aladdins carpet, the queue was less than 5 minutes! So that was nice, then Sumayyah fell asleep so we thought we’d wait til she woke up to go to Animagique again as we didn’t want her to miss out. So me hubby and Musa went on Tram tours instead, this was more interesting than I thought it would be and I thin it gives you an appreciation to the effort they go to to make movies.

The queue took a long time and so did the tour so when we were finished DD had woken up and we were just on time to see the next Animagique, I really loved this! I think it was DDs favourite. Then we went and had a pic with Mr Incredible and that was nice.
We were hungry now and went to have lunch in Pizzeria Bella Notte.

It cost us E45 for 2 green salads, 2 penne Neapolitan, 1 pizza, 2 garlic bread (come with the pasta meal) drinks and 2 chocolate mousses (these were very rich! Yum!)

We were really fortunate because it poured down with rain while we ate! When we came out there was a small drizzle that lasted for about 45 minutes. We walked to Adventureland and intended on going on POTC but it looked really dark and we decided the kids would probably be frightened so we walked back out of the queue and headed towards the Chapparel Theatre for Tarzan. This was amazing, the acrobatics were fab and we got to film the whole show. This was DS and DHs favourite of the whole trip. I really wish they’d ban smoking in the park or designate smoking areas. The amount of people smoking in the queue for Tarzan! Goodness, they might not be bothered to smoke in front of their own children, but to smoke in front of others I think is a bit inconsiderate.

Afterwards we headed back to Main Street for the Parade one last time before we left as I said I’d film it for my niece. This was the last thing we done and then we bid the parks farewell. We headed back to the hotel to collect our luggage and then back on the bus to the Station. We got there quite early and the queue for check in wasn’t too bad. Security check was uneventful, and we got our seats on the train. This time we left on time! Yay! So we arrived back at Waterloo at 20.30 and went back to a car with no petrol!
Well somehow we managed to find a petrol station about a mile away and then we were home!

It was a relief to be home as we were all so tired, but I really missed the parks and not being able to go around Adventureland and Frontierland properly.

If I were to go again the things I would do differently would be
Get autograph books so the kids get to spend a few more moments with the characters
Get to the meet n greets 20 minutes early so the queue wouldn’t be as long as if we joined in the middle of the time slot.
Make the most of the short queues for characters in WDS from what I saw they queues were less than half as short as the Park.
Make sure we leave enough time to get to the train station and take into consideration rush hour lol.
Make sure I get to see Lilo and Stitch show (the DLRP magic timetable said except weds so I planned for Thurs morning, but when I looked at the programme it said not on weds OR Thurs, so I was really gutted for the kids sake, we could have made it on Tues afternoon but I didn’t realise til after, so don’t count on certain timetables 100%)

Make the most of meeting characters in the hotels, maybe even sneak to another hotel for a different pic!
Go to Disney Village as I didn’t get to go 
Also go to see the Lion King as we missed out this time
Oh and Star tours was the one ‘adult’ ride I really wanted to go on but I missed out
It was a wonderful time and I can’t wait to go back
Thanks for taking time to read again!

Another packed day. It sounds like you really enjoyed your trip. Hopefully you will get to go again soon:thumbsup2

Thanks for sharing your holiday and lovely photos with us Eemaan.

As for the bits you didn't do ~ it gives you a very good excuse to plan another trip! :wizard:

Thanks for sharing. Now you can see why we are obsessed Disney nerds! :rotfl:

I can't wait for next week now.

Yes I'd love to go back, and I'd really love to go to Tokyo Disney Sea and Disneyland and maybe even Hong Kong...well that would be a long time away but I'm sure if I'm blessed enough we'll get the opportunity to go some day. Never really thought of the American parks, in my head they seem so huge and like it would take a week to get around and way more expensive, I'll have to look into it as my hubby has relatives in the US so we'd have someone to visit while we were there, and hubby would be more comfortable too cos they speak english out there lol.
I found a plush Mulan on ebay from the US so might have to buy that since I didn't find one in DLRP...
Thanks guys!! You've been great:cheer2: :disrocks:  :stitch:

You'd be surprised. Disneyland in California is even more compact than DLP, even though there are 2 - 3 times as many attractions. Very manageable with a young family (even if the flight can be a chore). WDW is huge and spread out. We said we would never do it with tiny ones, but I caved and we took our at the time 18mth old and 3 year old. We had a fantastic time.

Every Disney resort offers different and special magic.

Thanks for a lovely trip report. I can identify with not getting to do any of the adult rides - I have only been on PM, Star Tours & HISTA once & that's the trip where we brought my parents with us! You'll just have to go back!

Hm, the US parks seem do-able, maybe one day when DHs uncle invites us over, will def look into it...
Buyt for now again trippies will have to give me my fix lol

We must have passed you on this day we were on IASW during the rain and headed of on the train to see Tarzan.
I have enjoyed reading your report and sharing your holiday:goodvibes

I'd definitely recommend the studios for meet and greets the queues are almost always much shorter.:thumbsup2
