What weekend it is now is kind of irrelevant because in theory the children should be with HIM...so since he forfeited on that deal, I think that only when the 5 weeks are up does it go back to EOW?

This is what i was thinking. Of course, with this crazy judge who knows what HE will decide it means?!

ITA! I WISH I COULD SAY TOO BAD AND AFTER July 11th (5 weeks) he can have his EOW back. To bad we can't be the Judge and Jury on this....

When does DD go back to school ((not looking for specifics, please don't post that, but in general terms)? Just trying to think ahead to see whether he can spring another "30 days notice I want to mess with your head by asking to take the kids for a month before school starts again" ploy. Today is only the 16th of June...if he gets the feeling you are happy at the turn of events he might toss that idea into the hat (the big JERK that he is...). Be alert, but continue to pray for the day when all this nonsense is behind you!!

DD starts sometime around middle of August. I did think DAMM may try that too. So I guess we'll see.

I rec'd a call this morning. I was offered that higher paying job officially

Then I rec'd a second call rom my former counselor, she wants me to come speak to a group of women tomorrow night and tell them things I have learned along the way and not to ever give up. I told her I would

At 4pm, I have that telephone conference with my atty, hopefully she will have some good news.

Another beautiful day to spend and enjoy with DD and DS.
The discipline is getting harsher. Since they earned their while belt with purple strip, Sensai and I expect more from their behavior. Last night at Karate, they would not stay focused and DS kept talking and thought it was funny. Sensai wasn't in a very happy mood yesterday anyways and ended up taking away their sparring privilege till further notice. Then he threatened to take away their belts. They still didn't seem to take him as serious as I did so we have been working intensely on focusing and less talking. They're punishment is 10 pushups and if DD mouths off- she must write "I will control my bad temper" it is beginning to sink in. During my Karate class, to save DD and DS from really getting into trouble, I separated them and DS had to sit in my class and do pushups for 45 mins He probably only did a total of 20 , but I think he learned a hard harsh lesson In the long run it'll only make them stronger and learn the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
As a reward for today- if they can stay focused and listen then they will get to go to a special place tonight that is filled with Jump Houses!
I just have to stay focused myself and stay consistent with my discipline.

I just started reading and all I can say is wow. I am so sorry you have to go through this nonesense-and even sorrier that your kids do too. I don't know the whole story but it sounds like you are very strong-so hang in there! My ex was horrible in the begining but as he learned I would not back down and be intimidated it has evened out.

My conference call with my atty begins in just a few minutes.
My new job actually starts tomorrow- just orientation computer stuff, but at $29/hr

I'm heading out to the airport at 630 am for Orlando, but I'll be checking in while we're away! I'll send tons of POTENT pixie dust, since we'll be at WDW for a few days between shows...

The new job is ONLY PRN so I'm staying at my current job until the new place offers me FT....
The atty call, not as I had hoped for, but then again, I didn't expect much. She basically told me to not get so worked up about DAMM failing to show. She told me to stop going over and above what the court papers said- I agreed but explained the only reason I do that is to show the court (JTB) that I am trying....bottom line, DAMM is the one messing up. She also suggested that I talk to DAMM in front of a po-po at the 1/2 way point on Friday and try to get him to either give me his email address or encourage him to get one. Since his cell is gone and his house never has an answering machine, and that will stop all conversations between me and ex SIL and GF. It'll just be him and I, also, the emails can be used in court as communication documentation This way he doesn't have to talk to me and I don't have to talk with everyone else. I will also send him a 'delivery conf' letter stating the email request and his weekends until we can come to an agreement or go back to court I know DAMM wants to do 1 week at a time every other week, but that was very harsh on DD and DS last summer. I would rather not do that, its not productive to anyone but DAMM. So we'll see.............

I do remember my atty telling me not to get worked up over what the X did, the courts here are a part of the good 'ol boys club....and X was pretty much getting his way with the Judge ( after of course they shared their Mason stories ) that is, until the Judge caught him making faces at me across the court room. And our mediator wrote a letter indicating my X told her "he wasn't going to be the typical divorced man, he was going to screw me but good". I didn't marry him for his intelligence.

The best you can do for your kids is be there for them. Be the constant, supportive, loving one in their life, and you'll make all the difference.

Just knowing that others have been were I am gives me hope that someday I'll be where you are I know I have come along way since just last year, and as I prepare to talk to this group tonight- I do see how FAR I have come and how much I have grown!
