1. We attended the Fort Wilderness DIS-MEET in Late- 2024.
2. While visiting EPCOT with Mr & Mrs bama_ed, he bought a beer stein at Germany.
. . . I have thought often about buying one
. . . When viewing them in gift shop, could not justify the high price to just sit on my table
3. Ed turned me on regarding a stein available when buying beer at the exterior beer stand
. . . This is not the kiosk-cart near the lake.
. . . Just outside of the building, there is a "Bier" stand under an awning
. . . You pass this on the way to the restaurant or seating area.
4. A mug of beer and stein were $20.25 total.
. . . Water container-glasses at WDW are more typically more expensive !
. . . I went back after seeing his and I got one.
. . . While in line, another guest blindly cut in front of my scooter.
. . . We joked that if he didn't move so quickly, he'd been a hood ornament
. . . Nice guy and wife and we joked while winding through the queue
5. As we got to Germany, we got in line and ordered my beer and stein.
. . . Choices were the dark beer (Schwarzbier) or lager (I picked lager)
. . . Pulled my credit card, and bartender would not take it
. . . The guy I almost ran over had bought my beer and stein
. . . Never had seen or met him or his wife prior to this near-accident
. . . He and his wife were gone before I could turn around and thank him
6. Mrs Rusty and I visited EPCOT in march with grown daughter (visiting from Cleveland, OH)
. . . I simply HAD to buy another stein , as just one looked so lonely by itself on my table.
. . . I told my wife before entering EPCOT that I wanted a stein to match my previous purchase.
. . . Beer and stein price was the same
. . . This time I had to pay for it !
. . . Now, both steins adorn the den
. . . The steins go well with my Heidelberg Lantern and Danish Doilies.
