Cast-
Me (Wendy) aka MaMudduck- said at age 14 "I could live here IN WDW forever"
DH (Mark) aka PaMudduck- "Man, the logistics in running this place (WDW) must be incredible"
DD (Lauren) aka LilMudduck (7 3/4yr)- "Want to trade pins!"- first time to WDW
Day 3 in the world- Sat. Nov 9
After yesterday's late night and the grumpy ailen family I was left with, I let everyone sleep in, hoping they would be back to normal. So I made some revisions to the plans (I remembered reading on the tips board something about not overplanning everything...oops).So I Cancelled our Ps at Chef Mickey's for Sunday. We stayed at hotel until 11:00am and went to Epcot. Epcot is DH's favorite place, went to Honey, I shrunk to audience. I thought that was great, even the sneezing dog! Journey into imagination, Dh's fav from 13 yrs ago-(it wouldn't have been Epcot with Figment), Had Picture done at Kodak Store
Went to the Land, Dd loves the plants on thought this was cool. Food Rocks show, dd didn't get why mom& dad laughed at all the music.
4:45pm We were feeling alittle hungry, so we stopped by the Garden Grill, the cast members were all waiting outside almost "begging" us to come in for the character dinner. Because we didn't have a PS, I thought No way or the wait will be to long. SURPRISE...Right in, at table with food by 5:05pm...Because we were the first in the resturant , Chip & Dale, Pluto & Farmer Mickey came to our table at least 2 times each. They were so awesome all spent alot of time with dd, especially Chip, who danced with her, high 5'd her each time he walked pass and then when dessert came he put pudding on her nose- so she would also have a chipmunk nose! This will be a lifetime memory for her for sure. The food was real good, but what's not to like about "all you can eat flank steak!- This character dinner was definely a better value than Princess breakfast (food wise) both meals cost the same. (At this point I'm thinking -good plan cancelling Chef Mickey's because we got good dinner & Mickey!) we rolled out of the land and over to the Energy ride- love Dinosaurs this way, Dd was alittle worried & kept asking is something going to pop out at us!
Then we jumped on the monorail for MK to see the Spectromagic Light Parade (2nd show) , lined up at Town Square. Made it in time to catch Fireworks and got a great curb side for Dh & I, and trash can for dd- this way she could see everything. I love the light parade, it's always been my favorite from when I was kid!
Back on the monorail to get the car at Epcot and beacause of all the tips I read here & I got DD to ask to ride in the front of the Monorail, they let us, it was very magical returning into Epcot with all the lights changing colors on Spaceship earth.
It really was a magical day for the Mudducks today.
